What are the Mafia and RTD games like? Every one I've looked at started "you know the drill, now who wants to join?" ans I'm too lazy to read throught one to figure it out.

Getting back to the OP, this is something that's bugged me too.  I've even had people offer me places in Mafia games.  I have absolutely no idea how they work, and there's not a single thread on the board that actually explains it, just how that particular thread is different from "standard" Mafias.  It's a secret club I didn't care to join in the beginning, and now I don't understand it at all.

From "people" Aqizzar means "Josh", because I don't know of anyone else that solicited quite as flagrantly as I did during Paranormal 6.

It might help if I wrote a simple Tutorial to place on the Mafia subforum.

 I never really took interest in it when they started to pop up. The only reason I joined the latest Paranormal one was because Toonyman asked me to play. And who can say no to that...

I didn't want to name names.  But yeah, I'm serious.  I don't know how Mafia games work, I don't want to fuck up anybody's game by forcing them to teach me, and you guys have become such a tight-nit clique that you don't even bother describing the game for new people.

I'm sorry we appear that way Aqizzar. Truth be told, I actually interpretted your reply to me as a "I'm not really interested, I'm just being nice about it." thing rather than a "I'd play if I knew the rules thing." because I did actually write out the rules for Umiman when I asked him...

Actually, when you put it that way, I probably wouldn't be too active anyway.  I'm terrible about remembering what forum games I've signed up for, so I don't really bother anymore.  A Beginner's Guide is still a good idea.

I'm still not sure about the RTD games, what are they rolling for the success of? Just any random RP-related action? I guess it'd probably vary from game to game, but...
