Also, can I quite quests?

I don't think you can, other than using a backup save. Maybe sit around in an online game while someone else completes them for you?

And what's up with the drawbridges in Rust Commons West? I managed to do some acrobatiflyin' and get around with the one with the claptrap and tag a New-U, but I probably wouldn't have needed to do that if not for the hoohah regarding quests received online.

Tannis eventually will give you a quest to go to Jaynistown... then the claptrap will lower it for you.

I tried bypassing it too... a runner at max speed plus booster can climb to the top of the raised bridge actually, but it is still not fast enough to fly to the other side.

I found the wall which is sloped right at the top. I got the landrunner up a garbage pile, then stood on the slope. I couldn't jump from there, so I went to where it met a pillar and managed to do it in that spot.

Then I remarked about how, stupid claptrap, I was now the most dangerous thing on that side of the bridge. But whatever.

I haven't applied any patch yet - since the patch only causes more problems and fixes nothing I couldn't by editing the INI files.
You can fix the fact that Lilith's phasewalk is pretty much completely broken by changing the INIs?
...Wut?

I'm talking about the FIRST patch.

I found a very sexy pistol that chops up BRUISIERS in a few clips, but It is super short range :/.

It looks like you can increase the number of players allowed on your server in the INI.

Does this work?

These freaking 8 year olds gave me a viral infinite shield/money glitch THAT I CAN'T GET RID OF!

They ruined my game and i reported them, I hope they get banned.

just replaced my older 'sexy' gun. This one is a revolver that can kill a bruiser in one clip, oneshot a midget, and insta kill a spiderant worker in an abdomen shot. I'm lucky today.

The first patch also introduces problem with dynamic shadows... it's been a *very* long time and GearBox still hasn't fixed it yet.

From my experience Phasewalk itself isn't broken at all. I've read reports that phase strike (the melee attack to exit phasewalk) deals no damage (other than the exit blast) though.

How are you suppose to make use of Brick's action skill? The higher resistance and health regen is put off by massive amounts of damage that they do up close....I get my shield broken with one hit and suicide bombers are not fun.

The damage isn't that nice either. Shotguns are better. Compared to the other action skills it is weak.

That's my question too... after experiencing PT2 with my soldier, I have doubts about Brick's survivability there. But I've read about people doing it just fine...

I've been trying to find this game for ages, but it seems every store in a 10 mile radius is sold out. It kinda sucks.

That's why you buy it from Steam.

As i play it i notice the shoddy work done on game.

-The AI has reflexes and speed faster then bullets. I aim at their head, shoot, and in the time it takes to reach them they turn around, shot, and move to the left.......

-Main quests have bugs in them. I was heading to the lady that knew about the artifacts, and it never targetted the claptrap i was suppose to talk to, so i wandered around aimlessly looking for the thing.

-AI is stupid. They shoot constantly even when I'm behind a wall of cover and it is impossible to hit me, this includes shooting a rocket launcher and killing themselves. They also get themselves stuck on rocks.

What wapon are you shooting? I am pretty sure that the AI doesn't react to rocket fire until it hits and all bullet weapons are instant (if not instant, close enough that it doesn't matter).

Putting fire into the area your target has taken cover isn't stupid.

AI wall hacks are stupid, however and they have, saddly, become a very common feature. Nothing new to this game.

I played this game again (found it rather boring alone) so I tried to play online

I was surprised by the amount of people who STILL can't open their ports who still try to.
