That's the first actually good shotgun launcher i've seen. Most of them trade massive amounts of damage for a larger magazine of cheaper ammo.

Finished the game two days ago. I finished with one orange weapon only - Tediore Defender ( http://borderlands.wikia.com/wiki/Tediore_Defender ) ... well without the rocket shooting part and one eridian ( 10101 cannon ) ... hopefully there will be more interesting loot next playthrough.

This game is pretty addictive - I think I am need just a few more side quests and can not stop playing this. I must find some people for co-op ( GMT+1 )

Those are Eridian guns, not Hyperion. Hyperion is a gun manufacturer like Atlas, Teidore, etc..

Level 26 and the only orange items I've ever seen are a shitload of Corrosive Artifacts, none of which do me any good since the first.

Yeah, that's what I meant.

As for orange, really?  I saw probably six or seven oranges in my playthrough.  They weren't very good though.  Two of them were decent.  The rifle lasted me a while but I replaced it pretty quickly, and Reasonableman beat me to the Pestilent Defiler (Corrosive revolver, flavor text is "Make sick")

I only got 2 on my first play through, but from Old Haven on during the second play through, they started dropping like crazy. 

Oh and today, I finally got the rocket launcher with "Beware the Horde" text on it. Its wicked shit. I was looking around in New Haven trying to find the 5th weapon box, and I happened to catch a glimpse of it, got to it, opened it and BAM, there it was.  Too bad its on my Hyperion only guy, Ill have to trade it to someone else. I belive its a Teidor weapon.

The final fight was way too easy though

I'm happy I didnt buy the game - yet. When the awful flaws get cured, I'm still going to get it.

First of all: Loot description. 4 Lines are too little. Luckily, you can make that special font a little bit smaller:

But there are myriads of shortcomings that shouldnt be a problem in a full price game

edit: supposedly there is a way to turn off the black outline, too

It's weird that those little flaws didn't bug me. Ordinarily, they annoy the crap out of me; but there's just something about collecting loads and loads and loads of different guns that I can't help but love... it's something I've always wanted in an FPS.

Reached level cap. I have some pretty ridiculous weaponry in my arsenal. I'm talking a scoped assault rifle with over 200 damage, recoil deduction, 93 accuracy, 13 firing rate. Combine it all with Metal Storm, and this thing will take heads off at a distance without trying.

They'd bug the living shit out of me, if I'd bought it. 50 euros is a lot of money for me.

But since I only borrowed the game, I enjoy it very much ;D

Even tho the UI is bad, the coop support (strong selling point...) is even worse and the memory is leaking like a blackbird on the runway.
