I won't be able to be on Steam until it finishes preloading.  I'm on my laptop and I'm preloading it on my desktop, so if I log in on here I won't be able to download it.  Are the six people cool people?

I'm fairly certain you can log in on the website and not kick yourself off on the client..
Either way, can't you just accept the invite on the desktop?  >.>

Two of our members (three if you join) are Bay12ers.
Looking to enlarge that number somewhat..

I might get it later.  My birthday is a couple months away so that means free money.  Of course by then you'll all probably have moved on to something else... :(

Does the game really have a million different weapons that do different things?

If it's good enough, I'll still be around.
This sounds eerily much like a 3D, gun-luscious version of Diablo 2, which I've played for 10 years now.
Not to mention the DLC this will have.

Yeah, it does.

And anyway, since my brother broke my parents' computer, they're going to be using mine possibly until Tuesday.  That's really retarded, and I might not be able to start playing Borderlands until Wednesday or later.

BAWWWW I CAN'T PLAY IT AS SOON AS IT COMES OUT

I keep hearing 17.5 million...  But yes.

In theory, can't your parents use your laptop and let you use the desktop?

PC port does indeed seem very lazy. No AA/AF, no GFX options, clunky UI and what seems like an extremely generous aim assist. No gamebreaking bugs like the new batman game however. Playing as mordecai, just killed nine toes. Weapons are a pump action revolver sniper with 3 chambers, takes more then a second to reload and is accurate to about 100 meters before the black blur of the outliner obscures the target. Secondary is a pistol which somehow fits 25 bullets, used for skag hunting.

My question to all console users who got it a week early: Is there any belt fed sniper with exploding bullets in the game later?

Oh my god I need this game, that sounds sexier than words can do justice.

I'm sitting here trying to figure out how such a machine would even WORK, and the only words I can come up with are "awesomely".

My guess is the cylinder is too heavy for the hammer to cycle it so the pump takes care of that.

For the gfx options, look up how to change that stuff for UT3. Thats the engine its based on. One way to force FSAA is to rename the exe to X3_3DA.exe because of driver profiles, might not work on everyones machine. Some people reported naming it ut3.exe will do the same. Also, because its the UT3 engine you should be able to poke around and find your config.ini files and force tweaks as well. Most console commands should work as well.  And last but not least, if you have an nvidia card, you can download nhancer and add the exe and force options that way.

After playing for a while longer, the game feels like somebody gave the fallout 3 treatment to diablo in. Also, it is balanced very badly.

Playing to lvl 16 on mordecai(sniper/beastmaster/gunslinger creepy dude), i came to the conclusion that i simply NEED somebody to keep things off me when i fight enemies around my level. Additionally, there's usualy no warning when barging into an area twice my level other then instant death at the hands of enemies that look identical to the ones at lvl 1. By the time the warning pops up i'm usually in last stand mode.

It's a co-op game, you should need someone to help you against your own level.
