Is there any way to turn this off? It gets to be pretty annoying when you're doing exploratory mining and you keep hitting alternating layers of orthoclase and microcline. Happens to me every game.

Think theres a mod for that,or was it for damp and warm stone.

There may be utilities to help you with that sort of thing. I do not know what utilities there are or which one would be most of use.

There was a mod to stop the damp/warm stone message, only with 40d11 I havent been able to get it to work.

Well, you *could* just remove microcline from the game....or just make it less common.

I hate mica.  For the record, reveal will kill these alerts, as well as obviating the need for exploratory mining.  It's cheating, of course, and can screw up your magma industry, but whatever.

It's especially annoying when digging your first (and sometimes primary) stairwell through many z-levels as it's bound to hit something every couple of levels, especially the bottom layers.
