Just to confirm, DwarvenEngineer's settings work for me:

Windows 7 x64
DF 0.31.10 graphics

Thank you DE, you've made the game playable again! And thank you chmod for all the excellent hard work you put into DT.

I got it working (for me anyway) on graphical mode, windows 7 (64-bit, if that matters).  Had to manually dig for some of the dwarf offsets.  Everything after states was offset by an additional 0x48.  (States may be too, wasn't sure what that field is)

In order to find the creature vector, I had to set the nickname of one of my dwarves to 'this_is_a_long_name'

31.09 Graphical:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

31.10 Graphical:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

(Fixed version number in 31.10 file)

That worked, thanks…

Wow I went out drinking last night, wake up hung-over to find 3 pages of people trying to get DT working. I'll take a crack at making a release later today.

So I installed the latest Dwarf Therapist on my laptop and it worked without incident. I just installed it on my desktop, and ran it while I was still in the world building stage of DF, and it started up, gave me an error message, exited, and froze my mouse. Now if I hit ctrl+alt+del, my mouse works in that window, and then goes back to not working when I exit out of it in any way.

If this is a known bug and the answer is somewhere else on the forums, you'll have to excuse me for not being able to find it, since my mouse doesn't work and I have to navigate by keyboard.

using those vectors it was easy to get legacy working too. Here's legacy 31.10:

edit - PS: You can just find the creature vector by subtracting 0x44c90 from the language vector, that's what I did for my first post.

Okay, now that my mouse works again (after reboot) I can go into more detail. When I said "latest" I meant 0.5.6 from the Google Code repository, not 0.5.6b which I didn't know about until just now. And I'm running it with Mayday's DFG, the latest of which is based on DF 0.31.08. I didn't know about the 0.31.10 release until just now either.

Now I'll be happy to test the behavior.

*time passes*

Yeah, I just ran DT without DF even running, and it froze my mouse again. So there's a problem with 0.5.6 independent of its functionality with a particular version of DF.

I'm running Vista 64-bit on an AMD triple core system. I don't know what all DT tries to hook into so I don't know what sort of diagnostic information would be useful for a matter like this.

Update: 0.5.6b does the same thing under the same circumstances. Oh, and it's a PS/2 mouse, not a USB one.

User Access Control is off, and I don't see how it would turn off the mouse at any rate.
