It only seems rude because you are referring to something that is not in this thread and has nothing to do with the application in question.  All the information is here...

Trust me, it sounds just as rude from your mouth in the context you refer to.

And the capitalization is troublesome.  It's funny (the first few times anyways) when it's not so direct, but the way you have it there's no way to read Therapist instead of The Rapist.

Click scan memory sometime.  Read the windows title.  Understand where i got my capitalization from.

As for the rest... it's a 1K ahk script or a 200k  exe file... Either way. it's offered as is for some people who are having problems...  Perhaps it could be built into the program in 5 mins.. but it hasn't been.

:o  Wow.  I wonder if that's intentional?  I'd never actually used the memory mapping tool myself, so hadn't noticed that.

That part was more of a prod for chmod.  It is useful until then.  I added an issue to the Google Code tracker for it, so he can choose to do it or not as he wishes.

So I was playing with the newest DT, DF, and Mayday when I noticed that DT would randomly come up in front of DF every 10 seconds or so. This happening for anyone else?

I have noticed some weird quirks in the SDL version, like my taskbar not being hidden and the like for DF all the time and it goes behind it... It seems random. Perhaps one of your macro's is triggering it.  if you press windowskey and a number in windows 7 it will switch to the task on your taskbar.. maybe you are accidentally pressing windowskey 3 or something.

Other than that no, I have not experienced that problem, although mine is usually on desktop 2 since I use dexpot

*Sorry, just saw you were using XP... I really don't know what's up.

Because... there's no 31.11 yet?
Or are you being facetious? I can't tell.

Look again 31.11 is up (direct RSS feed to mobile phone ftw :)
I'm trying to get it to work with DT but no luck so far. Tried using the same offset difference as in 31.10 but it doesn't seem to work...

Quote
[info]
checksum                = 0x4c496d93
version_name            = v0.31.11 (graphics)

[addresses]
translation_vector      = 0x016da41c
language_vector         = 0x016da3ec
creature_vector         = 0x0169575c
dwarf_race_index        = 0x014c0f1c

[offsets]
word_table              = 0x0058

Not working :/

No wait, actually it DOES work!
I had two ini files with the same checksum in the same directory (one was a backup of my edits to my 31.11 file) and DT was picking up and using the backup which I hadn't modified with these offsets. So yeah use that seems okay preliminarily.

Huh, would you look at that... Usually, I just look at the front page. Ah well.
That said, it normally takes a couple hours for the dev to make a new .xml after the official release,
but thanks for finding the new one.

I'm guessing you mean .ini, cos I didn't do anything with any xml files, the mapping files for Dwarf Therapist are in .ini "format".

There was no 31.11 when I posted... just figured I'd jump the gun a bit, since Toady said it would be out this morning. :P

I hope this will make up for my terrible sense of humor:

Nope, I'd seen that. Is there any reason you're arguing needlessly about anything anyone else says or are you just trolling?

 It's typical for 2 or 3 people to produce offsets independently, then we can see if there are any compatibility issues.
