So i genned a new world and stopped it after 3 years to begin my onslaught.
While pillaging an elven village i noticed that all military elves were unsing steel weapons an there were even Macelves, Crossbowelves and Lashererlves.

Did i broke somthing, were there changes with the new version or ist the history seed of my world just twisted?

This might need some more info, was this in an elven village? It might be possible that goblins captured the place and shared steel weapons with the elves.

I'd suggest you check the legends mode for the elves you encountered, that should clear up a lot if it's the world itself.

Goblins don't use steel btw. Only dwarves do.

I had an elven symbol.
But i cant say for sure if the humans conquered the elves or if the elves conquered the humans.
I scrolled quickly through Legends mode and there were many wars which elves won.

Im going to read through all the history more carefully later on.

Nope the Humans are using simple iron weapons, and the elves use steel and iron weapons.
Seems they have conqueed both.

could be possible that they simply looted them, I think. I once found a peasent boy who was carrying around a masterwork steel maul. The town had never even been in a war.

Try eleven children with masterwork crossbows and masterwork arrows sucks for them it can't be used together.
