Everything takes out missiles. It's just really hard to hit the missles with anything.

In BSF,only PD weapons will take out weapon shots,and the only PD in this engagement is on our own 12th Bay and the rebels.

These ships are the type that really really benefit from the shield projectors.

That's why I wanted to be slightly cheaty and pry a couple off the old fighters.

Look at the athena. The only way to bump it off is to surround it.

Then again... You could have edited the deflectors to have a high energy cost without touching the regen rate or max energy to balance it out and explain it with "Transferring the deflectors to the new ships was a shoddy job,not to mention those particular models were meant for fighters anyway".

Performance loss for people attempting to be crafty would make sense I'd think.

Besides,those nanos are ridiculously powerful unless you modified them as well,and they are still used by nearly everyone.

Well, yes, I guess I could have done that. I might allow that later on. For now, the 12th Bay overpowered deflectors will do the job.
