Um. Why are Decados and Al-Malik at war now? The only thing I can think of is that mlittle is ceding an extra farm on Aylon to Il Palazzo, although nobody mentioned here that was happening.

Spokesmen for Ibn Palazzo and Saladin announced a finalization of a city-ceding deal on the planet Aylon. With respect to the old diplomatic tradition, both parties symbolically declared war on each other. There was much rejoicing.

The wanna be war is now over.

People of Cadiz and people of Rampart are of now under Al-Malik protection. The local warlords are being delt with and the anarchy will be replaced by the rule of law. Anyone wishing harm to the people of the aforementioned planets will feel the wrath of house Al-Malik.

As High Lord of house Li Halan, I have personally commissioned the construction of a ruling palace for your people.  This palace will be headed by an elected governor of your choosing.  For many years we have kept a watchful eye over your homes, keeping rebels at bay and funding infrastructure projects.  Now you are an official part of house Li Halan.  Unfortunately, with our support comes taxation.  However, these rates are very fair and you will unlikely find lower rates elsewhere except if you live side by side with the symbiots or Vau.  Should you have any complaints, please notify minister Jorgen.

I ran to check your tech because I was sure you weren't even close to being able to build palaces yet. It then dawned on me that there are no requirements for palaces in Nova.
