Al-Biden of the Zensids is still defying the rule of Saladin. The rebels have been seriously weakened and the blood guard will enter the city any day now. Through out the galaxy, other houses are already seeing Saladin as the absolute ruler of Al-Malik.

     As the battles raged across Kish, Gabrielle wished to hear of his brother's welfare.  All was well, he was assured by the general of the vanguard stationed on Kish.  Lord Curekt, the younger brother to Gabrielle, personally led his forces against the gates of Li Han-incorporated, a mining station that did not pledge loyalty to the new High Lord.  All cities on Kish were now secure under Li Halan jurisdiction, only a few rebel stragglers making a desperate dash for the capital remained to oppose the new High Lord's goals.  Can they inflict damage on the planet infrastructure, or will they be intercepted by the officer-led militia contingent?

     Rumors have spread widly on Byzantium II, indicating House Hawkwood and House Li Halan have agreed to a non-binding defense pact to protect their borders at Chernobog and Artemis.  Mainstream clergy have been seen praying, hoping such a pact never has to be invoked.

Al-Biden was sacrificed to the ancestors, with the last pockets of resistance soon to be annihiliated. Already, the proud Al-Malik are looking towards the neighbouring planets.

Turn sent.  I always have hated this turn in EFS, the turn right before the first engineers of the game are finished, but after my forces have lost strength from a few turns of battle.
