Is this going fast, or is this going fast?
My turn done.

Let it be known that anyone setting foot on the worlds of Aylon, Pyre or Rampart, will be conisdered our enemy and promptly eradicated.

No need to rush, we're making good time. In spite of my occasional internet outtakes.
If I have the save in, say, seven hours I can get it done before practice, and six hours from that and I can get it done before going to bed.

Turn done.

Let it be know that we are using the planet Aylon to feed our people on Byzantium. Aylon is not ours, but our buildings there are.  And we wish to inform the house Decados. that they have no presence on the planets they are claming. What will be next, house Decados laying claim to the imperial throne and the whole galaxy, they do not own either?

Added stuff to the first post.
Go ahead and add this to the Decados' description, for clarity's sake:

Despotism - 4
Enemy in the Church - 1
Decadence - 1

Mercantile Savvy +4
Battlemaster +2
Internal Security Apparatus +/-0

Added. Now only Al-Malik is ambiguous.

Also, waiting (patiently) for the save.

Al-Malik:
  Battlemaster +2
  Internal Security Apparatus +0
  Enemy in Church - 1
  Decadent - 1

So I have the fewer traits.

Decados done.

I really love this galaxy.

It worries us greatly that the house al-Malik proceeds to invade planet Aylon despite our claims and without as much as a word of negotiation.

The Al-Malik was there before your so called claim, fighting the rebels. The rebels, who are defying the empire. The claim as it was made was an insult, the threats afterwards were an insult. When the Decados stop with insults and start with talks, we can talk.

Il Palazzo: Yeah right, chokepoint after chokepoint after chokepoint :D

an excerpt from a speech given at the senate
... and it is with great sadness that we must condemn the unilateral claims of house Decados, given with no consideration to their neighbors. Laying claim to distant stars with threats of violence is unproductive, and will only result in hostilities. We urge both sides to reach a peaceful solution, and establish peace in the southern quarter. As for ...

Someone from the game asked me how units heal, so out of fairness I'm posting my answer here as well:

This is what I've found from EFS, I don't think Nova made any changes from it.  Keep in mind I did these tests without having the technology for hospitals, just the cities under my control.  I don't think it makes a difference, though.

If you have no hospitals on a planet, your units will heal 2% per turn when out of a city.  They'll heal 12% per turn when in a city.

If you have one hospital on a planet, your units will heal 9% per turn when out of a city.  They'll heal 19% per turn when in a city.

If you have two or more hospitals on a planet (seems to be the maximum hospitals that make any difference in healing), your units will heal 12% per turn when out of a city.  They'll heal 22% per turn when in a city.

A couple more related things...ships heal in space as if they were out of a city, so the 2%, 9% and 12% rates will apply.  When you land a ship on a planet outside of a city, it'll take anywhere from 1% to 40% damage unless it's an assault lander (or invasion lander), then it takes none.  Your ships can be destroyed this way, so anytime you land a ship at 40% health or less on a planet outside of a city you risk destroying it.  Land a ship at 20% health or less and you have a very high chance of doing so.
