The Animatrix: The Second Renaissance
« on: July 20, 2009, 12:07:55 am »

Not sure how many people have seen it, saw it when i was about 14, nearly threw up, watched again, same again. The first part is fine but the second is quite distressing. Any thoughts, opinions?

I don't see any reason they couldn't be. What would happen if they breached the HFS?

I love the historical allusions in the imagery. Very disturbing.

Well at least there was a happy ending.

You make it sound as if a happy ending is required.

It's far more interesting when there's an actual chance of the hero's defeat.

Kinda entertaining, I guess.

Now through my purple tinted Salvation War Syndrome glasses there are a lot of problems with it.
Does anyone particularly care for me to point them out?

LEGS SUCK!

its kinda wierd, evolution wise having 2 legs is better than four, any species which makes the switch to two legs is basically guaranteed to have an advantage.

i guess the problem for the humans was that the robots had NO legs, just antigravity and lots of arms

I saw the animatrix not to long ago.  My favorite was Beyond.
