I was taking keyboard classes when I was 12, and quite happy, but those were an "extra", and the rest of the week was occupied by other stuff my mother forced me to take. In particular, when pondering whether to continue some stupid sport classes (which I ditched eventually anyway) or the keyboard, she forced me to go on with the sport. At the moment this was only an annoyance (I'd have preferred to keep on with the music and ditch the sport, but I was glad to get one day off the scheudle)

I've never quite forgiven her for this, though.

You see, when I entered college and realized the sheer number of people who played an instrument, I learned to play the harmonica by myself. Out of shame.
And I cant help but think that I could know nowadays how to play the piano if it wasnt for her retarded emphasis on me doing some competition sport (didnt matter which one), which I was NEVER good at.

I have a J-Bass that I play pretty good. Pretty good for playing for a year, at least.
Recently I've learned Hysteria (Muse), Battery (Metallica), and Billie Jean (MJ).

I don't play anything, but I really want to learn how to play the drums.

About a week ago I made myself an ocarina. Funny little instrument.

Bass guitar. Used to be real good, but I've been neglecting it and gotten real rusty. I've always wanted to learn piano and keyboards and do some electronic shit.

Guitar.  I've got a Gibson SG that I haven't played in quite some time and has tweaked itself quite hilariously out of tune, and there's a Yamaha steel-string acoustic downstairs that I got not too long ago.

I've only been playing for about a year now, but people seem surprised when I say that, so I guess I'm not that bad.  Most of the stuff I play is either self-composed or impro.

I haven't played mine since school got out, though.

I was a percussionist in school. I could play pretty much anything besides the drum set. I played the marimba and vibraphone mostly, though.

I also tried teaching myself to play an old guitar we have. Until I forgot it in my dorm at the end of the last semester.  :'(

I did percussion in High School. I actually got kind of good. Then I lost it from not practising in years.

You need to buy yourself a book of exercises for the piano, and play a couple every day.  They involve all your fingers and are hecka fast, so your hands might be sore for the first week or two, but its really the only way to build up finger strength.

Also, I think I'm pretty damn good at the guiro.
