Do you play an instrument?

In my ongoing quest to acquire your identities and use them for illicit activities, I feel this question may be important.

I play the cello. You?

I was put off playing the recorder after horrific lessons in primary school. They were sooooooooo boring.

I'll play your instrument, if you know what I mean.  ;)

Terrible jokes aside nope. I had a friend who tried to teach me drums but he gave up.

This.

I play the drums decently, and I used to play piano a bit while self-teaching music theory. I've come to terms with the fact I'm not exactly musically inclined, though. Also, I am a demon on the kazoo.

I can use my hands and thighs to imitate the drums. I'm quite good too. Does that count?

Long, long ago I played the alto-sax.  I was ok-ish, just never practiced enough.

Then they opted to put me on the bassoon, and I sucked.  Mostly due to suddenly having a lot of solo parts and being a very shy person.

Then we moved and I didn't get back into band.

I own: 3 (soon to be 2) regular guitars, one baritone guitar, one synthesizer, and one violin.

Of what I own, I actually play (if not well): 2 regular guitars, one baritone guitar, one synthesizer.

At church while we're shuffling instruments I play (sporadically, and basically): piano, bass, drums.

-

I want to get better at the drums than I am, but my only way to practice is the middle of a church worship service. Probably the worst way to learn in terms of my ego, but playing in a live setting after a little bit of practice is pretty much how I learned to play the rest of my instruments I actually play. And it's the reason I will probably let the violin languish. (Me: "Hi, I want to play this instrument that beginners often make sound like a deranged wild cat in a live setting :)" Them: " >:( " )

-

As you can tell, music is my most expensive hobby.  :(

Steel string acoustic guitar, very very badly.

I have been letting it sit neglected for the last couple of months though, so whether I can still actually play anything more complicated than 'Happy Birthday' is what's currently on my mind.

I've played piano for 14 years, although I'm not very good at it; I've played guitar for 9 years; and the bass guitar for about 5 years now.  I have an old Casio keyboard that I've had almost the entire time I've played piano.  I have an acoustic guitar (Fender San Miguel), 3 electric guitars(Fender Stratocaster, Epiphone Tony Iommi Signature G-400, and SX Explorer copy), and a bass guitar (SX P-Bass copy).
