...Actually, my CafePress store direly needed some real merch.  I think I'll go try and whip up some DF designs for shirts or whatever.  I shall post them to this thread when I am done.

Hrm. I don't think it would be ethical for a third party to sell DF merchandise. Maybe if you donate all the proceeds directly to Toady, but I still think he should approve the designs... trademark thing. You don't want to accidentally link DF's image with something he's not cool about.

For instance, a "Chasm found on embark" thong might be inappropriate. (on the other hand it would also be awesome, but yeah.)

Mm, good point.  You have proven once again that I do not think things through very well before I do them -- very dwarven.  I'll see what I can do.

Plays Dwarf Fortress when bored.  Is probably bored.

I cannot get over the tentacular nature of that guys arms.

EDIT: Wait, get off for the night? Am I spending too much time on the internet that I immediatly thought the worst when I saw that?

I don't know anything about 4chan, so what's so bad about this /b/, I'm sure that I could go start a DF related topic, if it'd help the cause.

/tg/ on 4chan already love DF. /b/? Don't go near /b/. Don't go anywhere near /b/. Especially should you be patriotic. You know those you laugh you lose games? They have one filled with nothing but dead American servicemen. And every single person lost (except me, I was a viewer). Trust me, stay the hell away from that place.

To compare /b/ to something less horrible than someone shitting in your ear while your asleep.....

Picture, for a moment, if your hand was your fragile mind, and the toilet paper is ignorance of 4chan. When your finger pokes through and gets dirty... that nasty, smelly shit on the other side of the paper? That's /b/.

That is disgusting.

It's also very accurate.
