-Go spill coffee in the same spot of all the other renter's carpets so your landlord is less likely to notice or care.
-Wait until your renting neighbor is out and then switch all instances of the house number with him and spend the weekend hauling furniture between the two houses, then act like you lived there the whole time and leave your neighbor to explain the stain.
-Time machine
-Put a rug over it. Invite your landlord over and offer him a cup of coffee that is rigged to leak or break. Claim later that his coffee soaked through the rug into the carpet.
-Pull the lever
-Go door to door looking for someone with enough leftover carpet in their garage and replace your room's carpeting yourself.
-Pray to the blood god

Why would I do a simple and effective good search when I could ask a mob of insane dwarves? One says to use lemon juice, one says to use vinegar, and I am paralyzed with indecision!  That coffeestain.org is pretty lulz worthy though.

I think he forgot, lots of people drink coffee every day, and also, coffee is enjoyed at least once every 24 hours by many people. I guess you don't need an english degree to write for coffeestain.org.

He's messing with you.  "Shammy" is a older word for any small towel used for drying stuff after washing it.
