Prohibit taking breaks?...
« on: July 17, 2009, 03:57:08 pm »

In my quest to transform my dwarves into robot slaves I have been modifying the definition in creature_standard to make my dwarves stop eating/sleeping/drinking etc.  However I have not been able to find out how to keep them from taking breaks...  Is this something that is hard coded, or is my underdeveloped wiki-fu failing me.

There is no way to prevent breaks from happening, but you can always just draft and then immediately undraft dwarves that are taking them to send them back to work. This will cause a small bad thought, but if you have a good enough dining room and whatnot it should be okay.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!

Have you tried messing with their personalities? You could try:
Code: [Select]
[PERSONALITY:ACTIVITY_LEVEL:100:100:100]
