20+ odd very doomed goldfish (4-5 different times we tried to have goldfish, never had very good luck with them not dying).

My sister once had a pregnant goldfish. It gave birth to 20 little ones. After a few days, there was about 10 left, they had eaten each other - even though there was enough food. After two weeks, only one was left. It was supposed to live for a month. It lived for a year and a half and grew to incredible size, at least three times the normal size. It died extremely healthy at the hands of one of our cats. She was cleaning it's tank, and the goldfish jumped out of the container and the cat quickly killed it. It's like it wanted to die.

This reminded me of the lunatic in Bram Stroker's Dracula (the book). flies -> spiders -> birds -> cats -> The life of each of them was the lunatic theory.
