This is taken from the Boatmurdered epic so it's an older version, but does a screen such as this still exist? I've been looking for a place that allows you to assign butcherability and see the sexes at the same time (versus sorting individually) but best I could find is the 'u' screen and zooming to the individual animals.

Please tell me this screen still exists!

'z' - 'enter'

On the status screen, there are several options listed above, some unavailable based on your fortresses' current level of development. The screen you posted is the animals screen, which you can select by highlighting it with the arrow keys and pressing enter.

Hmm....is the Animals tab always visible? I know about the status screen but I've never noticed an Animals tab.

Afaik, yes. (I've never "had no animals", so that may be a condition - dunno.)

It's usually called the z-animals screen, or (sub)menu.

It's still there, even if you don't have any animals. It will just say 'You don't have any animals.'

Ah now that I'm in DF I found it. Evidently hitting z then enter was too much of a stretch. The first freaking option lol.
