Revolution!  Weren't you paying attention?

The short answer is that in the eleventh century or so, green became the semi-official color of the Ottoman Empire, and has since been synonymous with Islamic power or identity or just popular crowd shit in the Middle East.

By an ironic twist, it's also Toady's chosen color of Liberalism.  We need a slogan!

Aqizzar isn't linked there because of the amount he posts. Aqizzar is only the 10th highest poster. Inaluct (2nd highest poster, following Toady) joined a bit over 3 months after Aqizzar and has over 1600 more posts than him (6276 to Aqizzar's 4630).

There once was a time when I'd post once or twice every day, I still read the forums just about every day, but I don't post as often, if I'd kept up with that I'd probably be near the top of that list...
I'm not that bothered about it, in fact I'm somewhat proud I can keep my mouth shut.
