Declaration of involvement.

Pirates based in city dockland area have repeatedly harassed and destroyed Kasemanioan and international ships. Kasemanioan naval forces (primarily the Third Shadow Fleet) have deployed to the area, with international blessing, to defend against the pirate threat.

The pirates quickly stopped attacking. However, Kasemanioa (in dispute with the international community), has stated that piracy is an economic problem, caused by unrest. In pursuance of international well-being, the city will be restored to some type of order. Kasemanioan forces will seek to form a coalition of democratic and stability minded allies to get the city a reasonable government to end the threat once and for all. In pursuance of this goal, the first urban peacekeeping company is deploying to the area.

Does the point cost after the specialist weapons affect the points for soldier stats? I'm confused.

There's about 25 of the fuckers and the three sarge killed were at point blank range - it's got to be zombies or a bunch of really dumb terrorists with knives.

The shotgun's 2A means you can only have a maximum of 2 Accuracy.
The +2D means you add 2 to your Damage.

It indicates how many of the points need to be directed to buy the weapon. Specialist has 10pts. You buy a shotgun (2pts). Specialist has 8pts left.

And if I find I could run a few more factions, hopefully more spots will open.

I have two regular troops for each specialist. That's exactly what the rules say.
