Last night at 9:00 PM, all television channels were hacked by an unknown source, and the following message played for 3 hours before the hacking ceased:
*A tall, Native American man walks onscreen*
Greetings, neighbors. My name is Han Tullet; I come from your former (the former is emphasized) ally and neighbor to the north, Pindwin. As you know, our country was recently liberated thanks to the efforts of the man known as Ritter and his organization, Arkham United. For those who do not know, I will gladly confirm that we are, in fact, in the city. We wish you to know that we are not here to main, murder, loot, and pillage, as your own military has so gladly done.
*A picture comes up behind the man of Arkham, taken yesterday, still charred and in ruins. There are recovery and rescue helicopters all over the city, with the occasional flame still rising up high into the sky*
This is a retaliation against the government, not you. For those who wish to protest the government's actions, I shall not lie to you. This is your fate:
*Yet another picture appears of yesterday's executions, of six young-looking men, with massive bullet wounds in the backs of their heads. It appears that at least three executioners shot the victims several times before the final killing shot to the back of the head*
"Who are these people?" you may ask. I don't know. Do you? Maybe the military is right, maybe these were violent rebels bent on destroying your city and lives. Or maybe they were just a group of college students caught loitering on a street corner, and the military saw them as an easy scapegoat. How do we know if I'm right, you ask? Once again, we can't know. The military won't tell us what these people are accused of other than the vague accusation of rebelling against authority.
For those of you who do not wish to stop this terrible atrocity, I do not blame you. It is a dangerous life. If you do not want our war near you, send your address in a black envelope to the door of one Joseph Almington on Maine Street. I guarantee it will get to us, and you will have nothing to do with our fight. But those among you who want more, who want justice for the lives already lost, I ask you join us. Send a green envelope to the same address with your name, and we will find you. You will be among friends. Good night everyone, and godspeed.
