Don't ask it silly questions, it won't play silly games.
Well, there's no way to add this through stats, but shotgun are good at breaking shit. ie; Loot an upper-class appartment, you say? Take shotguns! Short-range, can easily blow down doors, loud to scare people.

Ya gotta think outside the stats, boy!

   Colonel Vinci patted the comforting bulk of the Hydra urban fighting vehicle. He could hardly look sea sick in front of his troops. He was the commander of Kasemanioa’s First Peacekeeping Company. The entire company was going into action. Vinci was going to invade another country. Fun.
   And there was no doubt that the First Peacekeepers (they preferred to call them selves peacemakers) would win. Apparently, there were several assorted factions contributing to the chaos that had made the city a pirate base. Worst case scenario warned of facing light armor and rocket launchers. Spitballs basically.
   The company’s primary vehicles were Porcupine mod Hydra’s. Crewed by 7 men, they were designed to massacre idiots who tried to take on modern armies with light weapons in cities. Adapted from old triple A systems, the Hydra’s primary weapon was a quad-50 mount. Enough to easily knock through most of the cover that a city had. 50’s would go cars like . . . Well, like the peacemakers through their enemies. Independently firing from the commander’s station, a 30 cal machine gun (based on an American Browning design) would shred anyone else. The flanks of the vehicle were covered by a 7.62 mg on each side, operated by infantrymen. Four infantry men sheltered inside, two on the mg’s, two firing at anyone coming from behind.
   The Hydra’s main defense was firepower. Mow idiots down before they could fire their rocket off. However, even if that didn’t work, the porcupine system provided some protection. The quills were merely stiff wires of a foot length going in all directions from the hull. Most rockets would trip on the quills. Their shaped charge war heads wouldn’t reach the real hull. Then the mg’s would cut the firer down.
   Vinci had 10 Hydras in his command. Three platoons with three Hydra’s each. Every platoon was greatly stiffened by one M5 Bradley IFV. The 25mm bushmaster auto-cannon, and four TOW missiles gave him the ability to hold against heavier armor, while the 6 onboard infantry could storm buildings. Then there was his own command Hydra and a communications vehicle.
   All told, the Peacekeepers had 54 Fifty Caliber heavy machine guns, 13 general purpose 30 cals, 29 7.62 medium light em-gees, and three 25mm auto cannons. Plus 60 elite infantrymen, 44 crewmen, and enough small arms for every one of them.
    The company was getting ready to land and engage. The container ship that they were riding was prepared with 4 assault hovercraft. They would run 1st and 2nd platoon ashore, moving two vehicles each, to secure the landing zone. Then the third would come ashore, along with the command element. Then the quick work of unloading the supplies would occur, while the 1st made a thunder run through the city, shooting up anything that looked dangerous. By the time anyone else was prepared to act, Vinci’s Company would have found their throats. Cutting them would only take a second longer. They wouldn’t have the preparation needed to fight an organized, modern army. Theirs was the only surface warship around. The shadows lurked underneath, prepared to sink anything that got in the barge’s way.

   The ship hit something. Vinci heard the explosion. He felt the second one. Where the ammo had been stock piled was now a gash in the hull. Water was coming in fast, and several Hydra’s had caught ablaze. Vinci ordered everyone still standing to get topside and bail out. He ran to get a the men in the Hydras out. He was trying to pull Michaels, the gunner on three-three, out when a Hydra’s fuel tank blew.
   The blast only knocked Vinci out. He came to his senses just in time to drown with his Company’s vehicles . . .



What, you guys wouldn't have a chance against the Kasemanioan unit designed for this job. I'll have an actual action tomorrow.
