Mr. Person, you have half a loaf of bread next to you that Weedo su gave you. If you starve at this point it's your own fault. (Oh, and it occurs at -20))

You know, there's a certain point where you have to stop being a dick and just assume I want to eat the damn bread. I thought I ate it when Anti-Paragon gave it to me. I guess I was wrong. Eat the damn bread.

Alright, good to know. I alter my action slightly, where by meditate I meant spiritually. My 'deity' is about knowledge from ancestors, after all. This would be a good time to utilize such things (in a realistic manner, too).

Also, the acronym AP is fine to use. I have nothing against urine.

Maybe I should edit that post, it's a tad... antagonistic. Then again, I'm not particularly happy to be crippled and watching as Dwarmin takes advantage of the fact I got rid of the rats for him. Then again, I would do the exact same thing in his shoes, so it's fine. This will be a lot better for me when I get back to walking, that's for sure.

(Wake:4!) You awake with a start and realize that you had only intended to meditate for a brief time. You are starving and, now that you're not meditating and you're awake, tear into the partial loaf of bread, eagerly devouring it. It's not enough to fill you but it takes the edge off a little. You're still starving though.

You're quite bored and wish you had something to do. You look around for rocks to throw. (Observation check:2!) It looks like you're lying on rather dusty and slighlty dirty stone, but it's been smoothed and worked and there is nothing worth throwing that you can see.

You decide to rest instead.

Recovery roll:6!,6! After the food and the good nights rest you're feeling remarkably better. You think you're face is almost fully recovered. You can't see it of course, but the wounds are now mere closed injuries. They'll go away eventually and even your chest feels miraculously better.

(About your post, well, yes. It was rather ... abusive. lol. Keep in mind that you didn't get it until you had essentially already started meditating and you simply haven't had opportunity to eat it. I try not to simply make up actions for your characters. If you want your guy to do something you darn well better say so. Combat is slightly harder for that reason and I try to use my best judgement, which is why I wanted the combat logs from each of you.

As far as being bored... keep in mind that combat is like an accelerated skill training session. You gain skill in combat much faster than out of it. The downside is that recovery is slow. It's meant to balance things out a bit. You are, aside from your injuries, the most combat capable character right now. So try not to complain too much. You gained many benefits from the combat. You're lucky the other guys are helping you out. Without it you'd have starved to death during the night.)

Dwarmin-

You tear into one of the nice warm, juicy pieces of meat. It tastes good and fills you well.

While your brain is boiling you continue working on the skin. (4!-1) First you stake it out in the quarry near the doors where the ground is sandier. You find an appropriate stone and manage to remove all the hair. It take forever and you missed a few patches here and there but it's not too bad.

You next take the brain and bowl and carefully mush it up using your pestle and pour half the contents on one side. (Action:6!-1) You remember seeing your grandmother do this and soon the motions seem somewhat familiar to you. You apply the rest of it on the other side and let it sit out to dry. You can submerge it in the lake tonight when (and if) you get back.

You go to wash up in a lake and take the chunks of large demon rat with you, tossing them into the water for the turtles to feed off of.

You think you are now ready to venture forth again in the direction of your choosing.

(Action:4!) You return to the upper hall and find Cius relaxing on the ground. He's eaten the bread and regained some of his normal coloration again. He no longer looks pale as death. You drop off the garlic and unnecessary gear and return down the ramp for some firewood. You don't need too much and in only about half an hour manage to have enough for a small cooking fire.

You manage to get them started easily enough (Start fire:2!), though the smoke is considerable. Fortunately for you it rises and begins filling the room before exiting the nose of the skull.

You carefully place the garlic bulbs on the stone around the ring of embers and burning sticks. (Action:5!) The skin around them was starting you char so you kept rotating them and soon the rather nice smell of roast garlic fills the room. It smells very appetizing.

You sit down to think about the green and remember that, like onions, the greens can simply be eaten raw. Even the flowers. They even taste a lot like green onions. Not terribly filling, but they might go well with bread.

Creeper-

You continue to travel down to the trees and frolic among them, greeting them politely and learning their names.

(Observation check:6!,4!) You spend a considerable amount of time among them and in the whispers you hear from them and their surroundings you learn much about the area. The trees avoid the mountains itself. There seems to be an vile and poisonous force that prevents most plant life in the mountains. The walls they dislike but are unconcerned about. They do know that some birds have told them that there are ways through the walls to the north, east and west, though for some reason they refuse to talk about the west. It's as if there is something there that they fear, or dare not mention. You briefly catch the word defilers as they whisper among themselves about it but that is it.

Also be on the lookout for useful plants, minerals or animals.

Nah, it's ok. Those leg injuries are almost down to manageable levels. There's just very little you can do when you're immobile. It's also not fun, really, to watch for 2 weeks as you do nothing but steal food from other people. All I'm saying is, I almost wish I died so I could reroll another character and get back to the good parts: exploration and getting treasure. That's just me getting impatient, I guess. They'll probably be good enough to walk on by the beginning of day 4, if they continue the same heal rate.

Now,what should I do for my turn? I suppose I should try and help with the cooking. If nothing else, I might pick up a little bit of experience just from watching. What's the worst that can happen?

Again, I swear I posted something. Maybe I'm already going nuts or something.

For my action this turn, I'm going to make a very unique version of garlic bread using a loaf and the stalks. I'll give Cius half of the 'meal' (and his water skin) and put the bulbs in my pot (and subsequently in my pack), maybe push the rocks away from the fire with my boot/shoe/sandal, as I'm not dumb enough to try to pick them up.

I'll check Cius over to make sure I didn't miss any terrible wounds (if he'll allow me) and tell him I'll try to find him /something/ to wear. I'll proceed back down the ramp (mind the traps as usual. Make sure they won't spring up at me.) and finally start adventuring again.
