((No, it takes quite a bit to actually bother my nerves A-P. And I don't 'game' the dice to get outcomes I want. I might make up the scenarios, but if you roll well enough there's always a way out. Contrarily, if you roll terribly there's always a chance you will die. Painfully. Which, in reality, means that given enough time all of you will die eventually.

Day 5, Turn 15: Order: The goblin (3!), Reece (5!,6!), Ajax (4!), Dwareet'ik (5!,3!,6!), Dragnar (5!,3!,4!); New order: Reece, Dwareet'ik, Dragnar, Ajax, The goblin
Reece-
You do your best to help the kobold up and get into a comfortable position. It looks like he's trying some strange witchcraft stuff as you watch him but when you offer to help him with the badages he accepts the offer. As well as your help to get him moved to where Dragnar is. He gives you a piece of his food, which is not terribly appetizing, but palatable enough. You hungrily devour it. It fills you up momentarily but you could easily eat more.
(Leadership:5!) The goblin apparently sees you as his master now and offers you back the dagger, (Observation check:2!) though you see no reason to accept it at the moment, he smiles ingratiatingly and tucks it away. You tell him you can manage with the kobold but that you really could use some food and he heads back towards the stairway towards the trade hall in search of some.
(+2 Leadership exp., +1 Heal mundane exp.)
Recovery roll:1! You pull something helping the kobold down to the forges. Your wounds are bleeding more profusely now and it really hurts.
Dwareet'ik-
You take a bit of time to eat and refresh yourself before you get down to business. Reece does what he can to help you set your leg and you grit through the pain and try your best to cast a healing spell. (Cure light wounds:5!) A glow emanates from your hands and begins suffusing your leg. (Effect:4!(d8)) The light washes over it and almost immeadiately the pain lessens. The wounds are still ghastly and will require considerable healing but the spell seems to have been reasonably effective. You are a little hungrier and a little thirstier.
You also try and bandage your leg as best possible. (Heal mundane:2!+1 (Human assistance)) Putting on the healing herbs and bandage is awkward but with Reece' help you eventually manage to do it.
Deciding it would be best to regroup you convince Reece to help you move down to the forge room where Dragnar is presumably working still. Together you and the human manage to begin making your way down and are soon there again. You thank Reece for his help and give him some of your cooked demon rat meat, rather apologetically.
(+2 Healing magic exp.)
Recovery roll:4!+1(bandage) Your legs feel better, though your left leg obviously still pains you.
Dragnar-
(Craft armor:1!) You continue working on the chainmail and take the time to draw out another bar of iron into wire and begin coiling it. Unfortunately for you an errant spark wafted into your eye and by the time you finish stomping and swearing about it you realize that you've knocked the recently completed coil into the magma. You consider trying to fish it out but it looks like it's already too far gone to retrieve.
(Observation check:3!) You are still concerned about the fire imps and do what you can to poke around in the Magma. From what you can tell the magma channel runs under the center of the floor and spreads out in north/south directions directly opposite the wall. If they're coming from the channel then they're coming out underneath the Magma forge just to the south of yours.
You're busy looking at the channel when Reece and Dwareet'ik join you, looking decidedly worse for the wear.
Recovery roll:2! You're beginning to feel tired and sore.
Ajax-
(Yes, you've already offered the goat meat and it's been accepted. That's in part what got you this far.)
"Oh, well. If you're interested we've got a group of four dwarves or so headin' out to the west. Some gobbos are camped out there and bangin' on our doors again. We can always use a hand and we'll give you fair value for the metal equipment of any you manage to bring down. Unless you're wanting it yourself, of course. We don't use ... ranged weapons... ourselves for religious reasons, but you're not one of us, so I suppose you're welcome to. Never hurts to throw summat at them that they're not expecting.
Of course, if that's a little too risky for your blood we're always willing to buy back any trinket or dwarven items you manage to reclaim from the fortress proper. We send in a scavanger squad every decade or so, but lately the undead have been too thick to make much progress. We're looking for metal in particular, though items of historic or intrisic value'd be nice too. Far as we know the north keep is still sealed from within, and infested with slugmen and caveswallowmen. Or if you're really crazy there's a series of caves on the slopes around the central keep. Some of them have hidden supply caches in the back. We've recovered a few of them, but they're darned elusive and all sorts of nasty critters have begun taking refuge in the caves. If you're lookin' fer a place to rest, inside the walls would probably be safe enough. Just make sure the door's shut behind you."
(The invitation is extended. Essentially, you can join the siege-breakers for an interesting time of things, or they're willing to trade for stuff that used to belong to their clan that has become lost when the main fortress fell.)
The goblin-
(Observation check:1!) After the human lets you keep your knife you decide it best to scout around the area itself for useful things. The large workshop area seems to still be reasonably functional and contains wood but you recall seeing some dead corpses up in the Trade hall area that might serve for food. Imagine that, despite tripping over them they still haven't moved. Some of them are visibly undead and in an advanced state of decay, other are merely starting the decay process. Nothing too unsavory for you though. (if I recall correctly there are at least 3 large demon rat corpses left, 2 human corpses and a pair of zombie cadavers, as well as three goblin corpses. (Which you're not beyond eating, I sent you a PM about it. Hey... they're dead.))
Recovery roll:1! You feel considerably worse after moving around so much.
As a reminder, after the next round it is officially night time. Please provide details of where, when, how you're sleeping and any precautions you're taking.
