(Heh... I suppose it never occurred to you why you're standing on a tall pillar... perhaps the whole room locks down and slowly floods...)

While continuing to watch the goblin, I'll look over my sword one more time. I must know what it's made of!

I suspect this goblin doesn't know everything about why they are here. Maybe the demon is looking for something...

I won't light the other torch yet. Instead I'll nervously hum or sing a song (one that the dwarves won't mind) and perhaps reflect (meditate) on something.
Hmm.
I'm going to try to make myself more aware, to sedate my paranoia a bit more. If divination is a legit form of magic, I'll attempt to detect nearby creatures. If it's not, I'll simply try to become more calm and alert.

(Since not everyone has posted yet I'll wait a bit more. But of course the goblin doesn't know everything about why their here. Perhaps even the siege master doesn't know everything...

And Anti-Paragon... divination is a totally legitimate form of magic. So feel free to press on ahead. No guarantees about the outcome of course. Heh.)

I like random chance, and my character doesn't know any better (evidenced by the Elbereth thing), so let's try it.

Sorry if my turns will be coming a bit slower guys, my computer caught some malware and now all it does is blink on and off and never get past the loading screen. I have access to a library computer, though, sometimes...I'll try to telegraph my moves in advance.

What do you guys want to do with the Gobbo? I say we let him go to assuage my guilt, it's not like he can tell them anything they don't already know. Or we can kill him...I will go by majority vote, or you can just roll a morality check for me Paulus.

Actions
Burn the bridge OR send Tehs down to escort the Goblin over the bridge, then burn it. Of course, If I see Goblins trying to cross, burn it anyway...

Then move back down to where Drag is waiting, hand out all waterskins, and eat my berries, and any of the Goblin food that's left.

After that, go set up my leather to stretch, using my tools, in the shop where I got them.

After that, I'll cut up and cook some Goblin meat for myself. Num num! If I get any fat off em, fry it up and stir in the herbs to make a healing salve, which I apply to my bandages.

After that, follow Drag and Tehs around, trying to heal Drag, so he can get moving again. I get hungry, eat moar Goblinz!  ;D

well, I don't want to kill  him any. It feels unknightly to kill a foe who isn't in honorable combat.

Hmm... so my sword is above average, but nothing special, and would make excellent armor? I'll have to remember that.

We had better move on, the goblins will be coming before too long, and we had better not be  anywhere near the entrance when they get here.

I have no idea what to do this turn though, any ideas?

Well, we're in trouble. So, we're trapped, but we best move somewhere. Perhaps we can find another way across? Or, do any of us have rope?

We'll we are trapped on the right side (right?), so no worries. Onward!
The Goblin will have to be recaptured or killed...we can't have him helping his friends out...

Actions
Recapture the goblin, or kill him if we have to...then continue with my previous actions...

Don't you remember the cave that the goblins found earlier? The dwarves would surely have buiilt more than one way out of the place your in, they aren't stupid to rely on a three-rope bridge for all their needs. They would have needed to transport goods, food, utensils, resources, drink, etc to where you are and you cant carry a lot over a simple rope bridge.

There is nothing here that will serve you in any major way and there is no food or water here either, though you did the smart thing by getting at least some more food and water from outside. Your best bet now is to go forward and find an inner passage to where the dwarves transported the materials from the workshop to the surface. It's also your best chance of finding food and water as well since you may find the farms or a well/fishing hole, not to mention the other goblins that may have found their way in.

BE BRAVE! VENTURE FORTH!!

Edit: Don't forget to take more charcoal as a light source!

((Oh, and Zako, ... of course there are other ways in, and out. You can travel the upper road to the King's keep and exit there or you can reactivate the renewed golem-city of Olonkulet and have it dig it's own way out. I'll drop that info up front. Heh... lot of good it will do you.  ;)

Of course, it might not have occurred to you yet why they have only a rope bridge leading into here...))

I look at the items that are currently out and set my items I wish to trade (noted below) I also get out that mountain goat meat as an offering, and eat the other one in case they try to seize my stuff. I then try to remember all I can from watching or talking with traders back home. I know meat usually sells for about 10, but does it differ here?

Items up for trade:
The teeth (except one otter tooth), the bones, the otter meat, the hides, the remaining faggot (which is probably viable for charcoal).

We're all going to die? I'll ask the goblin what it's talking about, all we have to do is find another exit... right?
