Ok, I'm going to have to write up one of those long-ass fighting style things. Damn.

Meditate on... oh hell, how I could of dodged better and not get damaged so badly. Mostly reflection, I guess.

Hmm...I've never been a big fan of CCGs - I mean, I did and still do collect Pokemon cards, but I never got heavily into the battling and trading thing.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

I harvest the all the berries, crush them with my knife, apply them to my arrows and hope I have some left over.

I'll go for Keris, the male, non-lithe elven knight.

I guess I could try and appraise the scepter. There's really just so little to do, right now. If I had more food, I might attempt to learn some kind of magic, but since I'm super-starving, I'd rather not. I suppose I could attempt to chuck rocks around, assuming I can crawl without undue pain.

Hmm, I'll think i should try brain tanning.

http://www.alpharubicon.com/primitive/tanningdragoona.htm

This seems about right. I have all the tools except for a wedge.

Also I guess you should remove "Dirty" from my status list, if I cleaned myself off enough last turn. Then again, Kobolds are always dirty, so maybe you left it there on purpose.   ;)

Actions

Start a fire to begin, and clean and cook all my meat, as well the rats brain.

While i'm waiting, remove the fur from the skin, and then commence the brain tanning, as noted above. I'll attempt to make a bowl from the rats skull since the mug is probably too small. After I'm done, stake the skin into the ground and let it sit. When I get back tonight, I guess I can submerge it in the lake? Weigh it down a section of rope tied to a rock, I dunno lol

When I'm done with all that, take all the inedible chunks and drop them a good ways from my quarry for the local animals to feed on. From there, start wandering around looking for plants, or zombies to rekill.

Great! Now I survey the land and if there are any trees nearby, head towards them, otherwise explore to the east.

Just leave the mixture here, as long as I can remember this place, can I quick travel back?

Slightly frustrated, I take a small break to look around for anything interesting and calm myself down, then go back to look for any shrubs or stalks that I recognize. This swamp can't be all bad. I'll walk back to the wounded man after searching/collecting, regardless if I harvest any or not.

(Zerstorum, you'd be looking for a small depression in a very large hill-side. You can quick travel back to the area but unless you mark it very obviously somehow it would take considerable searching to find it again.

And yes Dwarmin, Brain-tanning should be fine. I'd heard about it before but wasn't sure of the process. So, nice link. I've actually tanned a few things myself but I used an alum based solution.)

Can't really complain. Blarg. If I wake up and have any time, throw rocks around, I guess.

Fair enough. Continue with the actions already stated.

Tear into one of those juicy meats, though

Return to Dais, drop off stalks, go back for firewood (or disarm the traps and go look for something burnable down the ramp if it's significantly shorter) and get a fire going. Then to practice some hotrock cooking!

(This all assumes I managed to start a fire with my flint'n'jazz) I pull out those small, (hopefully quite clean) flat rocks I keep in my pack and set them quite close to the fire. I remove the stalks from the garlic (which should be quite easy) and put the bulbs on the small rocks and leave them there for now.

(Regardless of the hotrock cooking/whatnot) Hmm. I'm clueless on what to do with how to prepare the stalks. I'll have to meditate/think over this. Also, the smell of slow-cooking garlic should totally be a bonus to Mr. Person waking up. Cooking food + potent smell + crackling fire and smell of smoke = lots of sensory stimulation.

By the way. Being hungry as a monk; what bonuses does it provide, aside from 'simply preference'?

Also, how long until I starve to death?

(Anti-P Being hungry for monks makes it easier for them to 'attune' themselves to their deity or discipline of worship.

Mr. Person, you have half a loaf of bread next to you that Weedo su gave you. If you starve at this point it's your own fault. (Oh, and it occurs at -20))
