((Thanks Zerstorum. I'll keep your time zone in mind. I'll forward you a turn so we're all caught up. Also, your Strengths/weaknesses are based on your class and race so you don't get to pick those. And your skills are chosen based on your starting class. Besides, I already mentioned that no one will start with magic skill.))
Turn 2: Order: Sephiroth (3!), Zestorum (4!,3!), Dwarmin (4!,4!), Mr. Person (2!); New order: Dwarmin, Zestorum, Sephiroth, Mr. Person
Dwarmin-
You excitedly begin picking out the plants you're interested in. (Herbalism check:5!(+1)->6!, 2! Plant type(4!): Kobold bulb. You pick several that weren't fully matured yet but then you find a massive root! Yanking hard you manage to extract it from the ground with relative ease. That is when you look up. (Observation check: 6!,4!) OH, MY GOODNESS!!!! WHO THE HECK PUT THAT CITY THERE! LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THAT GATE! It comes as somewhat of a shock to you and you feel a little intimidated by it. You look around guiltily to see if anyone was watching you. (Detection check: 5!) And you spot a human travelling by himself along some sort of path to the south of you, he doesn't seem to be carrying much and looks as if he's headed into the fortress. You're not sure if he's seen you yet. At least until he looks right at you.
(Gained 1 Kobold bulb, +2 experience in Herbalism, +3 experience in Observation)
Zestorum-
You continue along the path towards the gate. (Observation check:2!) You notice little change as you get closer. (Detection check: 6!-1 (for Dwarmin's bonus) 5!) You hear a noise off in the marsh north of you and see a small kobold there, apparently gathering plants. He seems to be carrying a stick of some sort and you notice him tuck a large tuber-like root into his pouch. It doesn't look like he has a sword though, and you don't think he could help you learn fire magic, but then again... you never know.
(+2 experience in observation)
Sephiroth-
Walking up to the gate you can't help but notice how rusty it is. Examining it (Observation check: 5!) you note that in several places it's rusted through and poking it you manage to find a sizeable hole. You might be able to fit through. You decide to make the attempt! (3!-1 due to size) (Luck roll: 2!) You manage to squeeze yourself through the opening but it's a little smaller than you thought and your bag catches on on a piece of metal as you're going through. (Result:1!) All of your prickleberry cakes spill out onto the ground. Hastily you pick them back up and put them back in the bag, but it's pretty badly damaged now and only by tucking it into your belt do you manage to keep them in. You don't think anything else will fit in there now.
On the bright side, you're through the gate an in a corridor wide enough to fit a wagon, but little wider. The brickwork under you is smooth and even. Looking up you notice the ceiling is a little higher than you'd expect and you see several holes in it. They look deliberate and you realize that they are probably murder holes, used in sieges. That alone puts you on guard. The path in front of you appears open and you can see daylight ahead.
(Lightly soiled food, bag is damaged. +2 observation experience)
Mr. Person-
You decide you need to figure out a way to get inside (4!) and reason that there must be a way inside. (Observation check: 3!) You decide to head west around the wall since you see some plant life in that direction and it just looks healthier. Not great reasons, but one way is as good as another. You walk along the southern wall, remining in it's shadow as you look for plant life that you recognize. (Herbalism check: 1!-1 (unskilled)) You think you've found something that looks familiar to you, small dark berries that grow close to the ground. You bite into one to see if it's what you think it is. (Luck:5!) It's not! At all! In fact it's very bitter and you feel a small numbness spread into your tongue and you quickly spit it out before the poison spreads. (-1 penalty to speech for 6 turns) (Learning:3!) You don't learn anything about herbalism except to not eat that one berry anymore.
(You feel fortunate that you're not dead.)
