As we continue north I'll study the surroundings, working on my perception skill and making sure nothing ambushes us.

I need to point out that Nirur, Org, and Errol have their hands full. Cheeetar still has the casket, but only so much will fit into it - it was meant to store jewellery. In other words, your inventory capacity has been reached. If you find anything, you may end up discarding something to carry it, if the items in question cannot be worn or otherwise carried without the use of hands.

No problem for me. I think. If finding a scythe, I want to discard my old weapon, and the torches can be replaced easily either.

I thought about trying to make a cart or wagon, but didn't see any possible way to do that in 10 minutes of travel beyond finding a perfectly fine abandoned cart with a high luck roll.

Perhaps you could make a make-shift belt from some of your rags? Could stick a dagger or the torches there.

If my bandages do not fit suitably into the casket, I shall apply them to my burns and Orgs bruises, possibly gaining some bandaging skill, and continue.

New turn! This is going rather faster that MM... I wonder why

I'm inserting random bits of roleplay... I hope you don't mind.

------------
Turn 4
------------
Spoiler: Actions (click to show/hide)
------------
Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)
----------------
The tiny hamlet of Boottrusses is now far behind. Everyone tries to keep together as they walk, but the surroundings offer too many opportunities to resist. Org and Errol continuously search for items on the ground, wandering this way and that but not getting much luck. Most of the loose stuff has fallen off the carts at the start of the trip, so there's very little to find. Nevertheless, Errol manages to obtain a rather dirty leather belt, and Org finds a purse of blue cloth. The purse is empty, but provides sufficient storage space for much more berries than a hand can hold.

Meanwhile, Cheeetar gathers leaves off the plants he encounters, and tries to fashion them into something to bandage his burns with. The resulting makeshift bandages are flimsy, and some of the plants irritate Cheeetar's burnt hands, so he abandons his attempts until he finds more suitable materials.

Seeing the others spread out so much, Nirur decides to use his voice and shouts some restraint into the group. Having paid attention to the surroundings, he noticed that just before Boottrusses disappeared behind the curve of a hill, a number of creatures could be seen milling around the houses. And lest everyone wants to find out what they're after, the group better move and be more organized about it.
------------
Background: [8]   Boottrusses disappears behind the gentle slope of a hill, and only the pillar of smoke can be seen in the sky. The land seems rather featureless all around, apart from the grass and the occasional bush.
------------
Environment:   Day. It's warm.
------------
Free items:
In Tiny Hamlet:
Large Fire:   Consumes one of the houses. Rapidly spreads to the rest of the construction. Produces plumes of dark grey smoke.
Rusty Iron Hoe:   On the ground. Two-handed farming tool, also melee weapon. Deals blunt damage with +1L, or slash damage.
Rusty Iron Rake:   On the ground. Two-handed farming tool, also melee weapon. Deals blunt damage with +1L, or pierce damage.
------------
Locations:
Boottrusses:   A tiny hamlet. Four wrecked houses, some broken fences, some trees, and lots and lots of grass here. A note is stuck to a pole saying that it was abandoned by the order of the Council of Lies due to a "Fiend of Assaults".
Green Field:   A vast stretch of grassland surrounding Boottrusses.

I stuff the torches in the belt and run forward, trying to both train my speed and get some more time for valueable scouting.

I'll run north with the group for as long as I can keep up, hopefully also improving my stamina.

Running two RTDs at once, with similar layouts but vastly different systems and setting is a bit... weird. But fun. Just hope I don't accidentally (or purposely) make a Crisis Crossover with the other one. ;D
