That, and/or C++ is really easy to learn since everybody and their dog teaches it, and/or learning brainfuck and lolcode as your first coding language would be freakin' sweet.

  You can learn in high school. I learned Java while in high school. C++ is easier, IMHO.

I share this sentiment, if only for one reason:

Printing a line to the screen in Java: System.out.println("Here is a line");
