Hey, I'm trying to flesh out the setting. I'm aiming for something akin to Amestris from FMA in the sense that you have dudes running around making shit explode, while squads of infantrymen with bolt-action rifles shoot each other and shit.

Yeah, I'm planning for them only to really be used in situations that merit them (sieges, heavy weapon support) and besides, they aren't that big. They're damn expensive, as well.

It's cheaper to get a ethericist (essentially a magician, but more economical) who can throw fireballs, but cannot wear armor or he'll be useless.
