This will be a Hermit challenge for a little bit but later on I plan to turn it into a community fort in a new location. also any advice on how to make my images come out better? I am using photobucket and they are in jpg format

My mom wanted me to join a caravan as a guard and I wanted to join the fortress guard. she won the argument and of course the first place I went after training was Nist Akath!!! when we got there I stayed because any idiot could see that there was no way that the caravan could make it though the gathering skeletal elks which are so common here they are called skelks as a nickname!

It did not take long. this cold has gotten to me. always the old mountain home was warm. water never froze yet here bring it to the surface and it will freeze in a second! I hate it and I must escape or I will surely freeze to death. There must be a way out but how?

well I must say this area atleast looks nice and I love how the water sizzles here! in just a little the water will be almost all gone!
heres what I have dug out! a is the main floor, b is the water lock gate which with a little work and some power will provide unbeatable security, c and d is just a boring tunnel down to the rock level, and last but not least e is my room and some mining for rocks.
and this would be more interesting if I could figure out how to do the numbers in a log book. of interesting not as you will see the civilization they are from does not seem to use the same start date as my mountainhome.

traders are here and they say they just want to trade. I doubt it they must know what I did not do at all to there friends. they say they where just looking for their friends in the area and saw me. I think they found them. they must not know! also the watergate was manually filled and I snazzed up my room even if it still is below what I had in Nist Akath.

Arr! I always knew an elfish month like one named "timber" would cause bad luck.
YOU SEE THEM! they say they are migrants but why would migrants come when I turned away a trader! They are here to take my land. They must die! but how is the question. Luckily I elected my self the expedition leader here so they believe me when I said that they needed to wait outside for "processing". now I just need to figure out how.
