Who cares what operating system he uses as long as it does what he wants it to?

Yes, but not secret ingredient proportions.
Huh?
They have to disclose the ingredients, but they do not have to disclose the amount.  The only thing they need to do is list all ingredients by quantity.  (ie: if Sugar is the main ingredient, it will be the first item but they don't have to say if it's 50% sugar or 75% of the total drink of sugar)

I've seen nutrition labels that aren't always terribly specific; they often aren't when it comes to some things. See: "natural flavors".

In any case, I think I've found a game that I may be quite happy with once I build it from source code. Downloading it via SVN as I type.

Oh dear.  It appears that the conversation has moved on, but just thought I'd respond to:
(ARG YOU SAVED IT ON OPEN OFFICE, NO NO NO)

...which is why I try to get the version used by (Novice/Dabbling) users of OpenOffice changed through the Tools, Options, Load/Save, General dialogue  to auto-save as Word 97/2000/XP, Excel 97/2000/XP and PowerPoint 97/2000/XP instead of ODF Text, Spreadsheet and Presentation formats.

It saves them the trouble of writing everything in the OO native formats, then taking them along to their Church Committee and finding that some people (those using Office) can't read them.  And it appears that OO3.x can read .docx, xlsx, etc (which was an issue with OO2.x, and I've been known to manually extract the XML from such documents to recreate the data within the spreadsheet, etc), so no problems in that direction these days, either.

Of course, you can save in any format you want (as well as load almost anything in contemporary use these days, as well as historically), but it's a streamlining thing.  It'd be nice to have a "one-click" save compatibility mode setting, but it's no great pain.

Ugh, one hour in and only on number nine. I don't blame you for switching but for some reason I have this strange loyalty to Windows. If Windows 7 doesn't deliver I might be finished as well.
