Personality brief: Arrogant and power-hungry, two traits he inherited from his father. Background brief: Born to an enslaved adventurer who had ventured into his father's cave and been captured. Raised by his father, an ancient red dragon, who taught his son that the only thing that is to be respected is strength. After his father was slain by a group of paladins when he was only sixteen years old he fled out into the world in search of power, wealth, and revenge. A few years later he was forced to flee into another world, and he is determined to make the most of it.

From what i can tell, Monk are only uber when they are near Epic levels. At the begining, they are one of the weakest classes.

However, if you really don't like monks, I can always try something else. It's good to try something new.

You can be a monk, I just consider their saves to be a bit overbalanced.  Be warned that I may nerf you in the future for balance reasons if the game proves that it needs to be done.
