I have one that is more like ironic than funny.

Udil Stabbeddye

A brief backstory, I was getting annoyed by antmen, giant rats (who mostly just ran) and a few giant moles which were outside of an exposed chasm. So, I decided to activate all seven of them to go and kill some of the critters. He ended up losing both eyes somehow, most likely in a fight with an antman. The ironic thing is that Stabbeddye sounds like stabbed eye(s). He woke up about half a year later or something. Initially he kept going unconscous but soon he toughened up (just from doing normal work I guess) and stopped doing that. BTW, he is my brewer.

Luckily, nobody died in that little adventure even though several of them were pissed for a while and two others got injured (both recovered).

I had a guard called something Okilzas. He had one red lung and wouldn't come off duty due to being elite. He never slept, always ran, and could kill hordes of goblins by himself. I call him "old one lung" and even took a recording of his preferences to show how awesome he is. When he dies I'm going to bury him in a suggestively shaped chamber inlaid with gold and electrum.
