It's not that I lack inspiration, I'm just too lazy to remember my ideas for more than half an hour.

So I ask you.

What kind of game do you want me to program?

 Asteroid miner. Just a big 'ol hunk of asteroid, a mining craft, and various minerals to dig out. If needed, various hazards like other miners and alien relics hidden in the asteroid. Also, magma for no reason.

Okay, so far I have the basic physics.

Left Arrow Key - move left.
Right Arrow Key - move right.
A - Turn around.

When you move, you lean in the opposite direction. This means that aiming shuriken will require precision, and you may have to keep moving back and forth.

It's cool, and feels like a unicycle.

Hmm.. here's a random game I proposed to a forum 2 years ago. Objective is to give yourself immortality by dividing your hit points by 0. I have dozens of other ideas if you like

You are a typical RPG adventurer. Doing typically RPG-ish stuff.

But after a few quests, one of which uncovers a powerful artifact, some wise old philosopher realizes that the world is just a computer game. This sends the whole world into shock and disbelief, in the same sense that it would be if someone told them that the world was going to be eaten by demons.

The villains try to exploit it to their advantage by manipulating their world, introducing complex numbers into mathematics, creating a doomsday weapon that'll create a 'blue screen', programming new artifacts to life, etc.

After some missions, some exp, some meetings with other wise people, you realize that your destiny is not some vague artifact or anything.. it's immortality.

Thus, your quest begins to divide yourself by zero... which would give you unlimited powers and possibly destroy the universe.


Oh and there's a tribe of orcs who can only count in binary, and the elves count in hexadecimal

I think it would be fun to make a RPG where we could shameless place math everywhere. I mean things like the exp curve following a logarithmic graph, or more fun, things like health and mana using numbers instead of how we are being pressured to avoid using numbers for health these days. It'll be fun to use 999999 damage these days and have a good in-game reason for it!

Hmm.. just some fun ideas for magic.

All magic damage does A+Bi damage (complex numbers). Just because magic is so mystical, complicated, and unstable.
"Healing" magic squares the damage, so something that would normally do 5+8i damage does (25-64=-39) damage instead, curing you of 39 damage.
"Death magic" multiplies your hit points by 0, in effect killing you. But mostly it doesn't do that, just multiplies your HP by 0.2 or something when done by a noob.
Defense against magic limits the amount of bits that could be used in a spell against you. Like for example, a spell would do 20000 damage against you and you cast a "10 bit" spell on it. 10 bits = 1024, so you'll only take 1024 damage (or some other programming thing which messes it up). A spell that does 800 damage will still do a full 800 damage, though.
