Maybe an idea for you "have to burn the rope 2 - now with more rope and more burning and more throwing and more fun"?

They totally stole the idea from one of the bosses of the first Commander Keen.
He seemed unkillable, but, well, you had to shoot the chain.

So I found that rope today, and no matter how many axes I throw at it, it just won't cut.  This is some heavy duty stuff.

I beat it! I managed to grind to level 8 in magic by damaging the boss and gaining XP, so I could shoot a fireball at the rope! Ingenious, no?

Eh, i usually shoot Ice Bolt at the rope then throw my +1 Throwing Axe of Power to shatter it.
