Well, let me get Jaks AoO first.

Wait a sec.

Okay.

Jak strikes the goblin, gashing his arm. (Goblin-7 HP Left)
The goblin strikes, but Jak dodges out of the way.

Jakkara won't get an AoO unless the goblin moves through his threat space.  Moving into someone's threat space does not provoke an AoO.

My standard attack (Jack's, but for convenience we will call him Rahl from here on in) was readied with the intent of attacking once the goblin came into range, which he did once he attacked Jakkara.  The goblin is 2 squares away from Rahl and thus within range of attack.  I can now make my move (shifting to just before the goblin in the Initiative queue) and stab at him.

That's my attack for the round.  If the goblin then decides to try and move out of or through my threat zone, either trying to flee, to get closer to me, or just to move between two squares within my reach, I will then get an attack of opportunity on him.

Short Answer

No, Rahl won't make an attack of opportunity yet, but he should make his normal attack.

Okay.But I thought the squares around you are threatened and that means once gobbo charged Jak gets his AoO.

Using my bluff skill, i attempt to feint the Goblin, and then kick him in his little goblinoid genitals.

"(Goblinoid) Ill remove your damn head!(goblinoid)"

im counting on him parrying my upper attack.

Jak and Strike don't get an AoO because the goblin has only charged into their threat zone.  Similarly for Jack (whose threat zone is a ring 2 tiles away).

If the goblin charges through the zone, or tries to get out of the zone, he provokes an AoO.

Diagram time.

Code: [Select]
___________
++?++++++g+
++U++++++++
++@++++++++
___________

? - Jakkara
U - Shadowstrike
@ - Jack
g - Goblin

The goblin, Jakkara and Shadowstrike are all armed with weapons that give them a 5ft range.  This means they can threaten any directly adjacent square.  The diagram below highlights the goblin's threat range with '.'

Code: [Select]
___________
++?+++++.g.
++U+++++...
++@++++++++
___________

Jack Rahl has a longspear that gives him 10ft range, which means he threatens a ring of space two squares away from him.  This is highlighted by ',' in the below diagram.

Code: [Select]
___________
+,,,+++++g+
,+U+,++++++
,+@+,++++++
___________

In the first round of this sample movement, the goblin charges up to Jakkara as follows:

Code: [Select]
___________
++?g<----++
++U++++++++
++@++++++++
___________

None of the three adventurers get AoO because although the goblin has entered the threat range of all three (take another look at Jack's threat ring if you are not sure), he is not moving within that range.

Say the goblin moves one step south, putting him in front of Shadowstrike.

Code: [Select]
___________
++?++++++++
++Ug+++++++
++@++++++++
___________

He has moved through the threat range of Jakkara and Shadowstrike (both starting and ending within one square of them), provoking AoO from both of them.  He has also moved out of Jack Rahl's threat range by coming within the ring of threat.  This provokes an AoO from Jack Rahl.

Say all three miss or the goblin is tough enough to take the three AoOs.  He moves south another step, putting him in front of Jack.

Code: [Select]
___________
++?++++++++
++U++++++++
++@g+++++++
___________

The goblin has moved out of Jakkara's threat range.  If Jakkara had the Opportunist feat and could make multiple AoOs, he would get another AoO for this.  The goblin has also moved through Shadowstrike's threat range (as he is still within a square of him).  This would prompt another AoO if Shadowstrike was an Opportunist with multiple AoO attacks.

The goblin has moved inside Jack Rahl's threat range, however, and as such does not provoke an AoO from Jack because he cannot strike effectively at targets within 5ft using the longspear.

Which means, if the goblin is in the centre square where you've put him, Jack also gets an AoO because he moved into and through Jack's threat range.

But after that, Jack cannot attack him with the longspear.

"Puny elf! I kill you!"

You kick him, and do 2 damage.5 hp left.

Ahh, I did your AoO then.

Jack, whilst jabbing at the goblin rushing them;

"How do you know he's an Adept?  And adept at what, exactly?"

What are the goblin guards wearing and armed with, by the way?  I must've missed that.

Edit:  Understand was Jakkara's kick, right.  I still have an extra longspear attack to make, then.
