Ya.

BArds are IMO teh best class. Supporting everyone, and able to defeat spellcasters somewhat easily.

Or atleast nuetralize their magicks.

Fascinate-Meh
COuntersong-Pretty good against Clerics and Wizards/Sorcerers
Bard Song-Good for Tanks and Dps(+1 Attack/Damage IIRC) It had another ability cant remember.

Then the magic.
I suggest-
Flare- -1 to enemy attack IIRC
Read Magic-For scrolls
Resistance- +1 AC IIRC
Lullaby- Makes it so you can sneak by easier

yeah, unless you change the rules around a little, house rules are all the rage among the cool kids.

I reread the first post, and missed the "player's handbook" part the first time. Since I don't know anybody interested in D&D, I don't have one, and have been using the SRD. Do I still get to play please? I've always wanted to play, but that's hard alone. I am somewhat familar with the rules already from PC games, and have been reading the SRD.
