Timekillers
« on: July 07, 2009, 02:31:16 am »

I'm in between fortresses at the moment, and I was wondering where everyone else goes online to kill time. When they aren't frying kittens/nobles/elves/worlds in magma that is. To get the ball rolling, here's a few of the sites I frequent.

Order of the Stick http://www.giantitp.com/
A simplistically drawn, but funny comic set in a D and D type world.

TV tropes and Idioms http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HomePage
A wiki chock full of different tropes seen in all works and mediums of fiction. Not just television, but video games, movies, books, and more.

Overclocked remix http://www.ocremix.org/
A site of video game music remixes. Kind of a grab bag, some tracks aren't so good, but some are definately worth getting.

Hylian Shield http://s1.zetaboards.com/hylianshield/index/
A site made for Zelda RPs. They suffered a hack recently, but they're recovering. Occasionally, I get the bug to do a little writing.

Smack Jeeves is also good.
Destroy Websites is AWESOME.
Also Soda Constructor is pretty fun.
Kongregate, too.

First ten minutes of play I ate my loincloth and then got some limbs torn off by a super friendly rat. Thumbs up from me.

Online comics. Many online comics. I counted recently and I had 252. That was before I added 20+ more.

That, TF2, the Colbert Report, Wikileaks, the websites of assorted science magazines, watching LPs, Zero Punctuation, Cracked.com, and the Onion from time to time.

WoW.

I'd just like to mention that I don't actually play it. I hate it.

WoW.
Having been addicted to RS in the past, I've decided that it would be a bad idea to even get the demo version of WoW.
