Well if you put it that way, sure put someone else, someone more interesting.
I'll just have to think up another character then if there's room for it.  :)
I could be first/second on the waiting list!  ;D

And no, i'm not being sarcatsic or anything, I just thought you made some sense there.  :)

Bah. It appears my own sarcasm is lost on you.

Far be it from me than to curb stomp on others ideas.

Well, I did think about it and thought you probably were right,
there should be someone who knew more of those holographic floating heads.
I myself have only limited knowlege of their antics.  ;)

Better make sure the leader doesn't die!

Don't worry, Sal will just splice Jack until he has Gaweir's body.  Then Desmond will shrink his head until he thinks exactly like Gaweir did.  Then Mar will deck Gaweir 2.0 out in cyborg stuff so he won't die again!

Jack isn't a useless janitor.  Jack is our insurance policy.

No. If I die, you guys are fucked. Contemplate that before you try shoving me out the airlock for no reason.

This is now final.

No changes can be made.

To save you guys the embarrassment, I'll not tell you what you have missed.

Instead, I'm gonna start.

[INCOMING TRANSMISSION]
.:Mission Command:.

"This is Mission Command... -pzzt- you are soon approaching the edges of the Sola.. -bzz- ..tem. Once you send a signal back to us, the AI will activate wa.. -pzzt- ..Call the roll first and don't forget to go into Cr.. -zz- ..is, If you forget, you WILL die. Have a good flight."

[trANSMISSION END]

And so begins our tale. But what was the important thing you had to do before you enter warp? Think of this as an intelligence test: if you can't get this, then you deserve to be back on Earth when all the bombs go BOOM-BOOM...

To others: There is a waiting list.

To mainiac: That is a possibility... but, think of what you might miss from allowing his character to die. There is no guarantee that what ever comes out of the waiting list, you will like. Infact... I might penalise you guys for allowing any crew members to die...

Well course is set, right? I suppose we should all sit down in the bridge (I get the Captains chair!) and prepare for launch and all that. Seat belts on, remember.

WAAAIT.

Everyone into the cryo chambers!

Yes, a map of the ship would be nice. Gets a scale on the size.

But yeah...EVERYONE INTO THEIR CRYO CHAMBER.

Edit: Actually, we should be in character now.

Should we start?

Because the others are not here, they are on autopilot...

[Jack_Bread]

Jack walks to his desk and picks up a layout of the Exo-SS
However, the layout was drawn by a noobie and basically consisted of crappy MS Paint drawing.

Wierdly enough, no image showed but lines of text. Jack guessed they represented the Ship.
                               _____________
     _______            / Engineering Bay]}>>>
    /  Comm. \_____/    Storage          ]}>>>>
(The Bridge_____    Cryo-Chambers ) <-- Escape Pods (yes, shooting out of it's anus)
    \_______/         \     Recreation      ]}>>>>
                             \__Science Labs_ ]}>>>

The Captain orders everyone to go into their Cryo Chambers.

Orange, DeFreeze and Osridian all comply.

(Sorry I had trouble with MS Paint... It keeps screwing up)

1 turn before Warp Phase.

By the way, you can move and do an action in 1 turn.

Captain can do both AND order where the group moves as an expedition.

Get into roles please.

Basically, I want everyone, including my self, in their cryo chamber right now. Meaning, I move for my own chamber aswell as issuing that order.

Anyway, I'm going to sleep soon too, so past turn one, try not to go to turn 2 tonight, because I'll be back in the morning (Nine or less hours, which is BEFORE even Aqizzar will get back on I bet), and I'm sure the Leader Bonus will come in handy by turn 3.

Ok. End for today then.

Everyone rushes into their Cryo Chamber, the AI locks down each pod.
The perfluorocarbons rush into the pods, the inhabitants all fall asleep.
The spacecraft continues to hurtle on through space, increasing it's speed even more dementedly fast.

[END OF PHASE ONE]

By Jove, WorkerDrone, you are accurate!
I'm just gonna say, soon, the Captain will be choosing the drop locations... and some very interesting locations there will be...

Sorry for no talking, I was at work.  I'm notoriously bad at keeping up with these sorts of games too.

For the sake of fairness, make Mar a woman.  It won't really matter, because nothing else is changed at all, so I'm still a cold, bitter mechanical specter.  Just with stainless steel boobies.
