I'm really sorry. I couldn't resist.

On topic, horny does affect fists positively to a noticeable degree, as far as I know. This has gotten me out of a few situations, but I would probably take HD over Iron Liver if you're totally green to the game.

Which I am :)

Ok, final question. Is it worth spending my hard earned xp on training up my pitiful medic skill? Or should I boost up fists/dodge instead?

As a fists user, probably not. Depending. If you ever want the Ripper mutation (replaces fists with pretty threatening and fast claws, gimps craft/medic and such) then you wouldn't get much use out of it. If you plan on keeping your bare fists, then it's not such a horrible idea, depending on your brains.

Likewise, if you plan on getting zombie, it's not going to be useful for anything.

Welp, now that most festivities are over, I'll go back to my abom.

Actually zombies get the upgraded claws now.

Whoever Julian was, thanks a bunch for the help. At the rate I was going, I might've been killing orphans for a very long time, even if I'm not brawny enough to wear the pants.

And now I'm left wondering why I tagged medic as a fist user when realistically, there was never much hope of me using it. Should I spend any xp, or just grind up fists?

@zac4213: Thats sorta misleading, zombies get an alternate version of ripper that infects people with zombie rot, not the improved claws and fangs abominations get.

@deadlycairn: Protip: Just grind fists to 8.00 raw, its only worth spending XP on your main weapon type after that, because you can only grind a skill to 8.00, and have to learn the rest from players or NPCs. If you're really planning on being a competent medic, you'll want to keep that xp for medic levels and other useful stuff.

Well ripper claws are worth it for a fist zombie because they are way better than the default zombie claws.

If you're reaaaally planning to be a fist using zombie though, and you really want ripper claws, you wanna take ripper AFTER you get zombie. I heard stories of people getting their claws replaced with zombie claws after mutating, ending up with a useless occupied mutation slot. Zombies don't have an actual weapon restriction due to stats or anything, you can even take rifles if you want, though they'll probably annoy you like hell because you won't be able to repair them due to the massive brains debuff zombies get, same for heavily customized melee weapons, but those don't explode in your face or fall apart if you don't repair them all the time.

If you REALLY want to take zombie early, train your main weapon skill past 6 raw, mutate and go hunt karnivores. Due to the massive bullet soak zombies get, you can kill karns real early and get some massive xp, and get reasonably rich with karnivore contracts.

The whole zombie claw thing was changed though, now you get ripper claws with zombierot no matter what order you got them provided you have ripper and zombie.

So, I'm actually bored enough to play some again. Anyone around the strength to kill crackheads up for some playing?

Goddamn it. That's the second time Maddnezz has killed me. I can't do jack about it, especially if he attacks me while I'm fighting something else.

Not to mention I turned into a zombie for no apparent reason and died at one point. It might've been that happy meal I ate, but I don't think so.

I'd just like to take a moment to say thank you.

The parallels this game has to 4chan are numerous, including the fact that it is best observed second hand. So thanks you guys for giving me the opportunity to do so.

Ah. That makes sense. Annoying though, although I have to thank Julian again, those cocoons have been invaluable.
