I would go with Lady. There no sane reason to give DRS more xp.

Yea but Corp and V aren't known for saying, breaking into every cessna on HI roof and towing it. Or stowing in the grandfather clock to kill and or strip unsuspecting players that get auto sucked in. Just because they arent on the list of most xp doesn't convey they need any more of it.

There reason to feel woe that DRS is loosing out on XP.

I don't even know what that sentence means, but I do know that teaching scrubs blades to 6 raw or whatever doesn't give us much XP anyways, so I think I speak for DRS on the whole when I say we are not concerned.

p.s. thanks for the planes

Tougher to do when the hellwiki is absolute crap. Makes you appreciate the DF wiki, but still.

Edit: With 20 blades skill and now 6 dodge, what should I hunt? Zombies really don't give much experience, and they aren't much of a threat except for zombie rot. I'm sick of hunting chobos, though they give decent exp I think I've killed a couple hundred of them. The only other things I know of are in the mines.

Arachnos start getting possible at 20 blades. Be careful and carry lots of healing items.
To get to them, go one tile west from the manhole south of the bradbury and straight north until you hit the bug tube. You'll need to kill the bug queen to get in, which can be slightly difficult. She doesn't tend to do much damage but she soaks a lot and she is able to eat you if you don't finish her off fast enough. Should she decide to eat you, either use writhing smoke or smoke a cigarette and she'll vomit you up. From there head west* and down and you'll be in the subsewers**, where the arachnos are.
Also, the contract can be bought from that place that sells contracts in slagtown (not the zombie hunter place, the other one. Forget the name of it. It's KH or something on the map.) and they pay out $500 a piece.
Also, is that 6 total dodge or raw? If it's total, that's pretty bad. I'd invest in some good armor***. seems your reflex should be high enough to make your dodge decent if you're using blades. I'd suggest gymming it a bit. It's a useful stat to get to 18.

*The room to the west has a nest which regularly spawns bug eggs while the queen is still alive. They each weigh 5kg but can be sold to Avram (SU) for $700 a piece, which is a nice way to make a little extra cash.

**Be sure to wear a gas mask while down here as the pustule will give you jointrot without one (or hyperimmune which it sounds like you don't have yet as you mentioned zombie rot).

***You can get a free cage jacket from one of the shadows in gangland. Keep killing them until you find one with it. I'm not sure where cage pants spawn but I'm pretty sure they exist. Cage protects well against slash and stab, so it's perfect again arachnos.

Dodge and parry are actually probably the best defense against them spiders. I started killing arachnos at 18 blades and they didn't manage to hit me consistently since I was dodging and parrying the whole time. The few times they did hit me though, it hurt - truckloads of slashing and some bleeding from that damage. Get ultraclot and snakeskin, and maybe leather armor (layer jackets, pants and get a riot helmet. Shitty gear, but it minimalizes penalties to dodge - only -1 - and it soaks pretty well). Also you can't parry them if you have lower than parry class 2, so get a bruce or a daikatana I guess. Gg fists.
Don't go in the 'fissure' that you see if you go too far northeast though, it's the entrance to LB3 where there are ARACHNOTRONs that will kill you horribly and the Spider Mastermind, who stays in the spot he is but will still rape you.

EDIT: also how much hit do you have on your weapon in 'gear'? if it's 20+, then that's perfect for arachnos.

I think it's at 17 with the Lotus Nodachi. I've never seen a bruce or diakatana even sold. In fact, the only more powerful blade I've seen is the fine katana (or the modified ones Sargo occasionally sells) and a taped shiver sword in the DRS store for like 75k.

DRS store sells Bruces regularly, and if the store is out you can page someone to bring you one. They are usually around 12-15k. Shiver swords are easily the best blade in the game, but also make you gank-bait. Daikatanas require less brawn to max speed, and are also harder to come by, which is why they're for sale less frequently.

Yeah, go buy/do the quest for a daikatana (probably won't be able to do that, guy you have to kill wanders around the goddamn necropolis and teleports when you get him low) or buy a bruce from a crafter and see what your hit is with that. Daikatana's also much more accurate than the springsteel.

I got a bruce from the DRS store for 12k. Came fully loaded with a balance mod, monowire serrator, and shock mod. Slightly less accurate than the nodachi, but hits about three times harder. Took down the bug queen without taking a scratch except for the time I got eaten and failed the focus roll on writhing smoke (took me a few seconds to light my pipe, after that I went into combat with it already packed and lit).

Worked out pretty well, thanks.
