How does resetting work? Aside from the "delete your clone and die" part. Do you keep your money, apartment, shit, etc, and just lose your experience and stats?

You lose your stats, exp, mutations and achievements, but keep everything else, including apartment, money and everything you kept stored in your apartment.

I'd be up for joining a bay12 corp, I suppose, assuming there were enough other people interested (however many that may be in a game that rarely has more than forty-something people online...).
I'd say it varies from about 40-80 during the day but a b12 corp might get griefed out of the game, apparently b12ers have some kind of reputation as pedos and furries on hellmoo.

I thought that was a) several months ago, and b) all sofia. Of course, I'm just going off of what was said in this thread, so I don't know.

Right now I haven't gone out of the main city yet, still killing orphans.  Trying to figure out how to increase my scavenge fastest so i can get more food, I seem to run out fast, nevermind water.

I'd be open to it though.  Right now I'm trying to decide what to take as my first mutation, nevermind how to survive getting to its location once I decide.

I just buy noodles and a 40 ouncer at the convenience store. The times I've eaten orphan bits I've gotten worms. And proceeded to vomit everywhere just for the hell of it. That also happened when I licked blood off myself too many times. Got an achievement for that, so that's an easy way to get your clone updated for free, once.

I still haven't gotten any mutations, I've got three slots free, and a fourth soon I think.

You don't need scavenge. A canteen or two filled at the orphanage sink will hold you for a long time for water, and buying some dog jerky from lurleen can keep you fed.

For muts, Iron Liver is dwarfy, and very useful if you don't have good medic. If you do get it, canteens, plastic bottles, and a jerry can are your friends. The only problem is you lose the ability to pass out from booze, and good drugs like the fountain in hellfire don't always work.

The easiest ways to get money are by whoring and by delivering stuff for Ratzo in AP.

Whoring works best when there aren't many people on, unfortunately at peak times there are 2-4 players working the streets and limited NPC's to fuck. As you wander the streets, if you see an NPC you'd be willing to fuck (depending on how picky you are), type 'tac'. If there name comes up with "horny" as a status, do a little foreplay (grope, lick, bite) to get yourself horny and get them really horny, then remove anything covering your groin and 'fuck *name*'. You can get money ranging from nothing to over $1000 for each NPC.

Ratzo is easiest to work for when you know where the common NPC's are, but here's a short list.

-Ratzo is in AP, which from outside the orphanage is n w u. When you get there, type -ratzo packages and he'll give you something to deliver.

-Agnes is d e s e u w from Ratzo. You probably already know where she is.

-Slim Stabby is d e s s s e e e e se e e from Ratzo. Perfectly safe route except for the occasional dog attack, which if you can kill orphans are no threat.

-Lauvric is d e s s s s s s s w w w from Ratzo during daylight hours. I don't know where he is after his store closes, though Ratzo will tell you.

-Roy Poorman wanders, but tends to be around the Bradbury (d e s s s s s w). When you get to the Bradbury, do not go into the basement! The zombies there will kill you for your braaaaaaaains. Read his location when Ratzo gives you the package, he's usually in the lobby or on the first floor. He will not go into any of the rooms, so you will be able to find him.

-You can't get to Chester right now. He's in the Sharpton complex basement, but the rats there are hostile and if you run into any of the larger ones they'll kill you at that level.

Also, you can drink from the sink in the orphanage or from the sink outside VC. Usually I drink from the tub in the crack mansion, but I have iron liver so it's more for healing than drinking.

I would also recommend Iron Liver, Writhing Smoke, Screech, then try to find a stronger player to escort you to Snakeskin (if your climb is decent) or High Density. It's a dangerous trip, but both mutations are insanely powerful.

Chester is safe. From outside the entrance to the sharpton, go NE, E, then N into the storage room and search it. Go down the hole and travel east, and at the end go north then down. There is a quick 4m climb, so bring a rope though there is typically one there. Also check the filing cabinet next to him. Even at low climb, it isn't too hard to climb back up.

The real danger with chester is if you run into rats on the way out. If you didn't pick up climb in the dreams of before, you can't get back up so you have to go out through the complex. Since you'll probably run into at least one rat, I call that unsafe. But it's up to you, from ratzo go d e s s s then go w as far as you can. East and NE of that area will be the sharpton complex. Go inside (e), n, search til you find a floor grate, then follow the air duct to the end and climb down. If you have some climb skill you can go back up, or head south and follow the hallways out, heading north at the fork.

Well, the server just went down and rolled back two days. Lost a lot of work, but on the flip side my sex slave, who vanished under mysterious circumstances (no corpse, and all of my stuff was still there, but she was gone and the tv was unplugged) is back. I'm now thinking about getting the fuck machine mutation. Only problem is, I can't find Maas Neotek. I take a flight to the crater rim landing pad, then head as far east and north as I can. Last time I tried it I got ripped apart by a Uryeti though, I don't want to repeat that experience without knowing I'm headed the right way. I think I know where to go once I get there, and I know to avoid Hepcat Jack, but I can't find the redneck encampment referenced in on Hellwiki. Should I be heading south and east instead of north until I hit the mountains?

Well it says on Hellmoo that they are hunting a few bugs, and that they will roll the system forward two days in an hour or so, so i think I'll sign on every hour or so and see if they've done it yet.  How do you avoid hepcat jack anyway?  I was thinking of going for a few of those mutations in Mass Neotek and the wiki isn't a big help.  The only official wiki I've seen that had a lack of information problem.

Maas Neotek isn't too hard to find, take an osprey to the crater rim landing pad and head east and south east. When you get to a path (ie, most steps only have two directions to go) every time you see a path north or ne go that way. The second one should be Maas Neotek.

To avoid Hepcat Jack, look ahead. You can run through the square he's in if you're quick, and he's the only hepcat I saw that attacks. Be forwarned that uryeti's and the occasional redneck are hostile as well. It's not safe, but it's not unduly dangerous either.

Na na, you dont wonder through the basement. You climb back up to to the air vent.

As I said, if you have zero climb, you can't get back into the air vent. Believe me, I tried it many times, I remember one long episode where I was trapped in the basement by a hairless rat. For a reflex/cool type with 0 climb skill and no mutations, going up is rarely an option until you take the time to grind climb skill, and if you actually sit there and spam climb for half an hour you would have been better off whoring, doing other deliveries, or even just scavenging time wise. Even worse if you're a brains/senses type and have at most +1 climb from stats.

However, if you're strong enough to kill the rats if you have to, going through the basement is 5x faster, so going through the basement is a good way out if you can survive it.
