You'd think that, but I've been on zotnet constantly, and didn't hold back, and not a single admin has been an ass to me. The worst thing I've seen them do is ZOT you, which is like taking a huge amount of damage that is, I believe, non-lethal. They mostly seem to do it to each other.

I was expecting that too, but they're actually pretty nice. Mostly. I'm pretty sure they're not allowed to do any serious damage to you anyway, though they've been known to make a player help beta test something...

I'll try it out, but after SS13 I don't think I will like this.

I wish I could deal with BYOND's interface, and SS13's graphics, so I could accurately judge the game. ._.

Help on Quitting:
----------------------------------
If you just want to quit for the evening and come back later, you'll need to get somewhere safe first. An apartment is ideal, but if you're a poor newbie, you can always go to the Crash Landing cube hotel (it's marked CL on the map). Just walk in and type @quit to disconnect.

If you're just utterly disgusted with the game and you never want to come back, well...have you tried Dwarf Fortress?

I... honestly wasn't expecting that.

The main developer might be a member here. I've seen a few game developers surprised when they find a thread on their own game in the forums.

So you are telling me that, this is a game I can get on and violently rape one of you guys and it's all within the terms of the game?

That sounds pretty cool.

Joining.  I haven't MUDed in years, it'll feel good to get back to my roots.
This seems awfully interesting. I might join tomorrow as well.

I will regret this.

Wow. After painfully wading through the "tutorial", here I am killing orphans and (failing at) butchering them. o:

Saw you disconnected in the orphanage. Pinched you and you sleepwalked off somewhere safe.
Bad place to log off unless you want to wake up dead. Or covered in semen heh.

Also passed Broose once, I believe. Not that any of you'd have known because I just registered here after having lurked for quite some time, don't mean to ramble by the by. First post, yay heh.

I've been playing Hellmoo for a while off and on, but I know jack all. Just grinding orphans.
Though apparently I share a corp with Keiseth.

If you guys do make a corp though I'll join.
While I'm fine in the corp I'm not a great people person, so I haven't yet made any friends so I'm not exactly bound to it in anyway.

Nice to see some folk from here playing.

Meh. I couldn't find apartments or the free hotel, so yeah. I'll log in and see what happened.

The community is pretty good. A large percentage of them are from Something Awful, and there is at least one corporation just for goons.

Am I the only person to find these two sentences somewhat contradictory?

I think I just saw Broose IG.

Yup. He was "dozing", through, so I pinched him and he went to the hotel.  :P

Also, get clothes! :o

I have a highly experienced character in that game which shall remain anonymous :P He's like 2 years old, but I stopped playing the game because of the grind. Grinding is so boring. And after a certain point it's just too expensive to update your clone regularly and dying is so common in the game. So, it's even more grinding to get to the XP and money where I was at. Frustrating.

Also, it was cool that there was one time when I bugged the tentacle rapers as non-raping.. and the next time I logged in, they weren't bugged anymore.  :-X
