Actually, it depends on what your buying. Armor is DIRT cheap right now, and you don't really need to buy weapons too often if you know where to look for what you want. I don't think any services had their prices jacked up either. It does seem that they are trying to nerf some of the more blatant money fountains, but with one broken arrow run, its easy to get enough cash to get a full double suit of leather or chudskin.

Also, Macero, Tortuga, and Coventry all have landing pads now, so they are accessible from the sky.

So apparently newbies are getting turned into sex slaves for griefers now. A rather nice player bought me some starter gear and offered me a corp to join after I lose my N-tag, which was pretty cool. I've never ran into this kind of generosity from a random player before.

After that there's a "Connecting" tab on the World Properties window that you can set up to login you in automatically.
