So hey. After seeing this thread countless times, I finally decided to try it out. I went through character generation and blindly following orders has now led me into joining ENEMA. Which is fine I guess, I can switch out later, but right now I'm still learning the ropes. Never actually played a MUD before, actually.

I picked the name of Wildweise.

But anyways, it's really about time people shook Gangland up more.  As it stands, just about everything belongs to COPS almost all of the time, and no one dares take them back for fear of retaliation from what is arguably the largest corp in the game.  They're huge enough to really not need the money brought in by cams, whereas the smaller companies like WOMBAT are at even more of a disadvantage due to being completely incapable of defending themselves should a full-out COPS attack occur, and due to the cams generally being too tricky to hack.

The Gangland cam system is a very nice idea, but inherently flawed.


Anyways, I think I am going to go CHUD after all.  Been reading up some more, and I just keep finding more and more things that point towards CHUD being very friendly to support characters.  Nice as Midna and Genevieve may be, I'm afraid I'll just have to be Dr. Chudley instead of Dr. Freak.

Now, to stock up on vast amounts of sunglasses and marijuana...

Why chud? I can see absolutely no redeeming qualities to it. At all. It has essentially no benefits (a paltry +1 to senses, a little climb, and some (worthless, being chuds) minions), and huge drawbacks (not being able to go outside during the day, not being able to go outside during the day, not being able to go outside during the day, not being able to go outside during the day, not being able to go outside during the day, you get dropped on your head when you reclone, not being able to go outside during the day, not being able to go outside during the day, and not being able to go outside during the day). It's like failpire only worse.
