We'd be better off for letting anyone in that wasn't an unpleasant jackass.  Strength in numbers, and all that.

Aboms still end up with +3 focus or so from the freak +6 focus.

I gave in to the temptation of absurdity, hilariousness and getting greifed. In other words I've started playing again.
Care to let me join you guys in your suicidal outings?

My outings tend to be less suicidal since my reroll.

I'd recommend everyone at least try this. If you just jump into the game, with no prior knowledge, you will be very... confused. This has such a learning curve, I'd say its equal to, or even greater than DF's learning curve. But, if you keep on pushing, you'll get accustomed to it.

Someone named Malefactor helped me out BIG time, and I'm pretty sure that there will be other people like him who will help you out in the beginning.

I would actually suggest joining ENEMA at first. They have free cocoons, for one thing and Saoy runs it and is extremely helpful.

Alright, WOMBAT is under attack.

Stabs, the leader of STABS, has given us an ultimatum.  Either we join his corp, or we die.  Seeing as STABS includes several fairly powerful members (and a huge number of members overall), this is a not-insignificant threat.

The idea now is just to keep from dying until Stabs gets bored and wanders off to do something else.  I, for one, am absolutely opposed to submitting to an overlord like that.

I'm traveling light at the moment.  Just some clothes, a joint, a lighter, and some soda.  I'm just running like hell so I can try and attack STABS where it can't very well defend itself...  Thugs aren't very good at hacking.

Speaking of which...  76Moogle, you are a traitorous traitor to your kind, and are guilty of treason.  Leave STABS and fight the good fight, for the sake of your principles.  And if not your principles, then mine.

Now of course I'm thinking about rerolling as a hacker character.  I'm actually quite enjoying the whole digital scene.

I might hold off until it cools down, or just spend most of my time away from the city and its surrounding environs.

Ya.. I was joking about how Enema is better than Stabbs.

If you go from Enema to stabbs you lose...

1) Cocoons, Medit Kits, Light Belts
2) A place to sleep besides the cube
3) Work benches and a fridge
4) Mservo
5) A private helipad.
6) A safe place to idle.

Just fight them, don't be afraid. The strategy of join or die is hilarious because all it does is fill their ranks with the weak. Notice how they only go after groups/corps/sexhavers they think they can beat? I'll roll a char to join you guys to help.

But the thing is, I don't want to fight them. I like WOMBAT, but this isn't a battle I care about. I'm going to do my best to avoid them.

It is a battle you care about, because you're the one under attack.

You don't have to fight them per se, but you sure need to be able to defend yourself and not let them get anything from you.
