I just got a steamer trunk with 142 .22 speedloads, a box of buckshot shells, and another 40+ clips of assorted ammo. Gave it to a corpmate with a gunbench.

Steamer trunks are pretty damn rare and valuable anyway. Make sure you bolt them, wherever they end up.

No, we got the 6-7 steamer trunks we bought off of sargo that night. Other things turned up, and we got a horrendous amount of stuff.

Also, I need science since I am a crafter with no weapon skills. Proton Packs are the best weapon for busting for me. Well, them and EMP grenades, but that kills my profit margin.

Speaking of steamer trunks, I found 3 near the bradbury today on my orphan alt. Thinking to use them as storage containers for the general orphan populace, I hauled them over to the dirt hole only to discover that they were unboltable. I then had to go. The trunks were still in the hole at that time. When I logged back on, they weren't there anymore. Twerp told me that one of them was found on Sparty's corpse filled with dino, yeti, chukka, and leech hides. On my logs I found the other two were filled with about 15 bricks of quick-mold, tesla generator assemblies, and other assorted crafting components which were pretty damn hard to find.

Also, to Beortrix, if you don't have any weapon skills, you will most likely get murdered very easily *by players and others not affected by EMP. Consider at least picking up a few raw of whips.

A few raw of whips won't really help me that much, and its easier just to carry cocoons and run away. Honestly, I'm only venturing out a little bit a day to go the crack mansion and the t-shirt store to buy molotov ingredients. Store has about 15 t-shirts for sale, and I strip any dead crackheads for even more. I'm halfway to my fourth slot already.

Alright, entirely off-topic (although Dervish and I did have an inspiring -and nearly fatal - experience beneath the city today)

Has anyone played CthulhuMUD? or any Lovecraft MUD for that matter?

Well, we never quite ran into the Shoggoth, but fought a handful of cultists. At one point I passed out from blood-loss, but woke up about 30 seconds later. Then of course, we realized the only way out for our two characters (characters with zero swim skill), was an underground river labyrinth of unknown size...

You'll find it harder later on when recipes and ingredients are placed in more dangerous locations, unless you can get a corpmate to help escort you there.
